  1. This is on gov.uk for it : https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/a-frames-and-dollies/a-frames-and-dollies
  2. I have 255’s and love them. I like the extra clearance and the rolling radius - they make the speedo read spot on - and they fill out the arches nicely. The biggest downside is that BFG MT’s (the KM3’s) aren’t made in that size any longer. They don’t need a lift - they do restrict turning a bit, but seemingly nowhere near as much as the 265/75/16 did. If you fit spacers (curse word) then you will need to trim the arches a little to stop them rubbing - and of course clean your doors a lot more.
  3. I’ve put gravel in the footwells - and I’ve fashioned a seatbox cover from 50mm celotex, I’m calling it Wright-Mess off road ™️
  4. What can you say, except ‘welcome to the internet!’
  5. All the more remarkable for how long it is. Great if it gets new people in who go back and watch the other episodes now.
  6. One more that talks about it : https://www.defendersource.com/forum/f6/defender-on-a-dyno-79057.html#/topics/79057?page=2
  7. And I can’t make out the screen on this one:
  8. I remembered this thread: though Red’s picture has disappeared from it.
  9. They don’t make spades though ? They offer Garden Lifestyle choices.
  10. If I did it - it would look horrendous. I have stable mat as flooring in the rear tub - and thickish rubber floor matting. I’ll look further into the underfloor waterproof stuff and see what I can find.
  11. If you were being generous, you might say that the huge gap between this Defender and the last one that rolled off the production line was simply due to years upon years of underinvestment - and that if they had continued to develop the Defender alongside the discovery, after the discovery one and perhaps discovery two, then it might look a lot like it does here ? Arguably - it’s just catching up.
  12. Great 👍🏻 Hope it’s not too difficult to thread the loom now you have all the bodywork on !
  13. Did I read that camping is limited ? And if so would we need to get in there and book early?
  14. I don’t know what’s gone in it - but I’m not a million miles away and have a spare R380 if you end up needing one.
  15. I’ve thought about that. They don’t do the wright off road for the 80” - and it would spoil the look a bit I think too. I was thinking if I got good adhesion, to well painted alloy, from water and heat proof stuff ... then I should be ok ...
  16. My plan is to do the underside of the floor plates, tunnel, and seat box in the 80. Most of its noise is from the gearboxes - if I can do something to reduce that it will make a big difference. Putting it underneath will keep the factory look too.
  17. That was my thinking just before 🤔 I wasn’t sure if I was the only one who thought they’d basically put it into production.
