  1. Loved it - all the stop motion animation put together into one long time lapse restoration film 🎥
  2. Quite a bit more info on Autocar about spec, trim, and release dates: https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/new-land-rover-defender-2019
  3. A new, giant, episode of SOUP 👍🏻
  4. FF, I was thinking of using this stuff you used in your ambulance: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F252376922308
  5. I can’t quite figure it out - it’s very different to the setup I had on my 90 with the JCB calliper
  6. They have a way of fighting you sometimes don’t they 😐
  7. With the right tooling he’d be able to mill the insides out. 👍🏻
  8. I’ve been thinking this for a bit ... hope it doesn’t damage his momentum for his channel.
  9. I thought the same - maybe taking the cover over will reveal an obvious cause.
  10. If you cover the front of that jeep up - everything to the left of the indicator...... it’s just how you imagine a new double cab defender might look.
  11. Les Henson posted on here once that Big end knock is noticeable when pulling away or going up a hill in a high gear. At idle or sustained revs they don't tend to do it.
  12. I’d start with looking at that steering - I don’t think it should be vague. All the ones I’ve driven, that haven’t had knackered joints have had really positive steering. One other option for your wife is to buy a series... My wife used to say my Td5 90 was really noisy and agricultural, 1000 miles in the series 1 later and she regularly comments on how smooth and quiet the 90 is.
  13. Well done on surviving that !! That ‘no brakes’ realisation is grim ...
  14. Mine knocked and it was the damper - and I could reproduce it simply by rocking / rotating it from one direction to another with the belt off ....
  15. Wow - thank you James, that would be wonderful.
  16. Hi Nonimouse - I missed your reply! Not sure how to get it picked up, but that sound fantastic.... Stephen
