  1. Emrys on West Cam Dave on West Cam Me almost making it on west cam and then spinning up and stalling it .... Rob - making it look easy All of us on busk lane
  2. I'm just uploading some videos to youtube.... I haven't got many good pics - but Mark has some crackers! Here's one of you with your offside wheel in the air .....
  3. There is an address and a fax number on the site. And it says 'we are a division of K Motors ltd' Where a quick google of K Motors would yield a phone number.
  4. I've an installation manual for the pto one - drop me a pm with your email address and I'll send it to you. Do a search on here for how to rotate the PTO to give more clearance.
  5. What's the standard distance from bump stop to axle?
  6. Folk say you don't need the correction on a 2" lift - so why not return some it? If you say you have +2" shocks, have you got -1" turrets and mounts? Perhaps you can swap your springs, for 2" lift ones and return the mounts and just use the shocks, and new springs, on the standard mounts.
  7. If you fancy meeting up in the lakes and taking in a lane or two drop me a pm
  8. Its true. A 3 inch lift is quite a lot. If you do a search you'll find a lot of info about castor correction and the like. Why did you want a 3" lift?
  9. Thanks Steve. I am moving the Ecu but only need to extend the wires that branch off from the loom. OT, Did you get my reply to your pm the other day? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on spring noise...
  10. Excellent. How do you seal the hole you've cut afterwards? I'm surprised your filter housing broke... I've just moved mine further along the chassis leg and thought it seemed a fairly solid little thing? Being mounted with 4 bolts seemed overkill too. Slightly ot, where is the fuel pump solonoid ?
  11. Settle down and have a brew.... sounds like a nightmare Have you got the van plate? and passed the info on to the police? on a lighter note ... Are you sure they weren't just trying to tell you your brake lights were out ?
  12. They are down the road from me. They do have an a*se working there but a few really good guys too. They also trade as a garage - called K Motors - Link Their parts number is: 01772 299 812 If you ring that number, and make sure you are on to parts, you will get through to the same people who handled your order. Hope that helps.
  13. Thank you chaps! I shall peruse the list. I've no idea how much this stuff costs and what the minimum order is - so lots to learn.
  14. I'd seen that - but I'd rather have a better jet than a feed from the wipers ....
  15. My washer jets are like those flimsy water pistols that were around in the 70's. They are so weak that a stong side wind will blow them both across one side of the windscreen. I was inspired to see if I can improve them after pulling up behind a '03 90 - when low and behold he seemed to have a proper spray from his jets ... like a normal car! ?? Did they get updated at a certain point? Can they be retro-fitted? Failing that on checking my nozzle its actually snapped - and the front can be pulled off. When pushed on though it doesn't vibrate loose and there doesn't seem to be any leaks .... so I'm not sure if this is contributing to the jets being rubbish .....? I don't think so though.. Any pointers or info please folks?
  16. I'm in the process of extending a part of my td5 loom - can anyone point me where to source small amounts of wire for it? I've always rebuilt looms before by having other old looms I could pilfer - and now I've run out! I've looked at looms on ebay - but they mostly seem to be complete and be top dollar. I also don't need to buy great reels of it from a supplier. Where can I go?, would somewhere like Maplins sell me metre long lengths of wire?
  17. FKD That's an excellent idea! What fuse rating would you suggest? 5 amps?
  18. Loads of good info in here! I'm not looking for a kill switch so to speak - just one to take out when I lock it up. For security rather than a remote kill switch. So if I can get one that won't get kicked out I should be safe enough? or is there something else I'm missing on the TD5? I suppose it will be resetting my ECU each time?
