Does anyone know if the plastic turret covers that fit on the inner wings are the same on all models? I've made a bit of mess of mine cutting them to fit round Gwyn Lewis' extended turrets ... so I'm looking for some more to have another go. Any help greatly appreciated!

Wow! you're getting full use out of your 110! I'm making a rack to fit in the back of the 90 - I've no seats in the back so I'll be able to mount the bikes across with the front wheels out. It means when we go to the lakes we can go for an evening meal after the ride without worrying they'll be lifted off the back.

So you think I should just fit it then? I'm not sure how big a half inch difference is ..... I guess with Land Rover tolerances, maybe not a lot?

I've pulled the shocks, turrets, springs and spring plates off my 90 on both sides to fit my H14 hydraulic winch and bumper (along with Gwyn's turrets etc and OME shocks) Ages ago, in preparation I bought a pair of HD shocks - NRC9448 and NRC9449. So I've come to fit them and realised I've been sent two NRC9448's ...... I've got to get the Landy back together by tomorrow at the latest. So I either put them on .... or take a drive out and try and find an NRC9449. What do you think? How far out would it be with two NRC9448's on?

Maybe a bearing? Have you checked water pump or the idler gears?

Thanks - I'm actually fitting a pair of x-springs and the fitting instructions say that the bolts for the retaining plates are the same as the prop bolts. Its not very clear - I presume the standard rear spring plate bolts are the same thread size as the prop ones - but not long enough to include the retaining plate, whereas the prop ones are. So I've got to wait to fit them until I've picked up some 3/8" UNF x 1" bolts..... bugger!

I wonder what that liquid rubber would work like......?

No need to post it everywhere! the 'view new posts' function brings it up 3 times and if it relates to more than one model people usually seem to use the 'international' forum ... Plus people who reply would need to check all three threads to know if they are just repeating what's already been said.

I've really only bought from Gwyn Lewis and a few ebay sellers - all have been fine. Top marks in all departments for Gwyn. Is it worth you returning it and claiming a refund?

How's the noise Steve? I have the pre cat td5 and am thinking of a straight through centre section - prior to a map. I want the smoother revs and the extra space underneath but I don't really want to increase the noise or have a really different tone....

maybe a bathroom scale under each wheel ?
