  1. What shocks have you got? I would think that if you had the same spring and damper ratings as before the roll shouldn't have increased, maybe the shock you have fitted have much softer damping... I know that of the ones Gwyn sells the Old man EMU and the Terrafirma have quite firm damping - the others are much softer.
  2. 60 mile trip for some lanes is nothing at all! Stop being lazy - plan a local 'expedition', get your family, food, a camping stove in the back. Plan a long days worth of driving to take in some beautiful lanes and great views. If at the end of that you still don't know why you want the Defender..... then, as FridgeFreezer said, sell it and move on.
  3. Although Gwyn offers the dampers with his kits... ??? so presumably they can't be that bad?
  4. According to my manual: F15 5A in the passenger fusebox has the dim/dip relay, AC and electric window relay amongst others.
  5. Mines Monte Carlo blue - looks great
  6. Go out and play on some lanes - take in some amazing views and challenge yourself on the routes - perhaps then you'll think 'nothing else could do this' and 'I should do this more often' ?
  7. Mistreating animals to the point of prosecution is a very bad indictment in my eyes.
  8. What are the T Max copies like? Like this one ... sounds pretty good?
  9. Mine seems fine? I've stalled it on a steep climb off road - but never come near it on the road, however clumsy I've been.
  10. Having missed the forum trip I'm planning a trip into Derbyshire with a couple of friends to explore the lanes. Would someone who knows them please take a few minutes to check them over for me? Just to confirm my direction of travel is ok and so on. I've compiled a list and could pm or email it to someone already familiar with them? I've listed the start and finish of each route using the bdcc site (x marks the spot) so it should be fairly simple to check. I've checked here on peak park sensitive routes list and am fairly certain non are on the list I've made. Stephen
  11. Looks like a nice winch installation though!
  12. It's the British Alpaca Society that needs it, because they can really shift when they want to.
  13. If you've new standard ones for the front I'd just buy the right ones for the back to match.
  14. LOL! Though I was hoping for the 'can not be unseen' to express my feelings for me
  15. I can measure up a H14 fairlead for you in a couple of days if you like? I'm away from home but will be back on Sunday night.
  16. With the td to tdi you only need a downpipe - but I thought that I'd read that with na to tdi you needed a whole system with the na pipe being too small a diameter?
  17. H&S legislation confers a lot of powers to the powers that be...
  18. Have you been reading this thread ?
  19. I don't have a plasma though ......
  20. A jigsaw even on thin sheet? like the Defender seat box gauge stuff? I've just bought some 0.8 discs to cut it ...... ?
  21. These look nice - but very expensive... These are much cheaper but its not clear what they are from? Rover Coupe? In fact, there are loads of them !....
