best to look at another one thats done 1st
unless u do a spring over you'll find a few problems with the steering bar on the back of the axle
hitting the springs
would be easier to fit discs and diffs to your existing axles
i got this 1 more or less built my car from the chassis up and still going well still got the box so will take it back when it gives up n get a nuvva 1 for free
I'm running standard shafts stub attached to the shaft was told that the 24 spline stub wouldnt fit the
10 spline case
would i not just be able to buy stronger shafts when i'v run out of spares

needs some help deciding which locker i should go for
running standard 10 spline rangey axle's do i go for
ARB 10 spline locker (have loads of spare shafts ect)
ARB 24 spline locker no spares and would need to find an axle
Detroit locker still no spare and would need to find an axle
would also need to buy the compressor for the ARB
anyone have any preferences over 1 than the other i.e strenghts reliability
not planning on doing any comps just pay n play days so would mean a bit of
road driving

probably been asked b4 does anyone know the approx milage a cam belt on a 97 300tdi (108k)
should be changed (full LRSH)
water pumps screaming its nuts off and so i was thinking about getting the cam belt done while
it was apart if its due

Anyone know why my rev counter flicks between 500 to 3k revs would it be the actual counter
or the alternator (if thats where the feed comes from) 1997 300 tdi
when mine was like this i replaced the fuel filter, this fixed it straight away, no matter how much i stuck my foot through the floor it wouldnt pass 60 mph.
sorry to change the subject but wot does blanking off the egr with a plate actually do ?
anyone know if a rangerover 3.5 v8 4speed auto box would bolt onto a disco 200tdi engine if it doesnt can i just swap the bellhousings over and would the output shaft be the same length and diameter
