Those alloys might not be load rated for a 110, for sure someone on here will know, regarding fitment can you not just try one on, the alloys have a deep recess for wheel hub bits to fit into, pretty sure I've tried that type of alloy onto my lightweight coiled hubs and they fitted, belts and braces for fitting would be to quickly try one regards Stephen

  7. Well its 03:00 and I've just said goodbye to a nice old chap who helped me complete this he was passing by and saw me pottering on. Old chap was very interested in the sledge like qualities of my bonnet when it was upside-down, shame he couldn't talk longer but he reckoned he had better get going as there was still a lot of work to do...........   10. Forgot about spiral wrap, which is ridiculous as I've used it in the past, only thing with spiral wrap is that it can thicken your loom a bit much unless there is a thinner version to what I've used I the past regards Stephen
  11. All the usual MOT requirements, heated screens I stripped all the old loom wrap off last night, there will be wiring i can remove so that will help to make things neater. Its all bit of a rats nest, wires added, wires removed over the last 30yrs or so, any bits I really struggle with I will be posting up for advice I'm assuming you can buy loom wrap, hav'nt checked the net yet regards Stephen

  16. With the onset of winter very imminent I personally would look at the quickest option to get me a snow handling vehicle with minimum amount of rolling around in the snow. My suggestion would be to remove engine and box from Blue and put them into red and run it as an auto until better weather prevails and you can do what you want to do with less time constraints, this way your not faffing on with fly wheels and fuel injection pumps although you still have pedals and throttle to sort This is just my thoughts and I have to admit I have no experience of automatics hope this helps regards Stephen
