  1. Considering the info they want is it a gateway to all the marketing mail and calls you could ever desire?
  2. "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them".
  3. Might be easier to source a set of decent secondhand ones.
  4. Spot on Some of us have owned, driven and worked on Land Rovers for a lot longer than 20+ years too
  5. This is good advice. Seek out your local agricultural suppliers and they should put you right at a reasonable cost.
  6. Just to add that I've been around here from the off too and am taking all the suggestions and ideas onboard. For the health of the forum it's vitally important that members have a say on the future of the place. Please don't misinterpret my lack of input on this thread, it's personally been a difficult time for me this year what with my mother passing away and having to deal with her estate plus I have had some further health issues which have taken some time to get to grips with. I like many of the things I've read and have made a point of staying on the side and reading all the ideas - please keep 'em coming!
  7. Fan mounted on the engine side of the radiator needs to suck. Mounted on the outside needs to blow.
  8. Now your 'yes' response would seem to indicate that you have some experience of these lamps in real life however your subsequent comment about wanting one to illuminate your winch appears to indicate otherwise. Which is it - or was the brief and totally unhelpful 'yes' an attempt at humour?
  9. My new utility does not have the small windows either side of the rear door. I want a reasonably priced surface mount scene light to mount on the panel beside the back door. In the past on other vehicles I've just bolted a halogen worklamp of some description or other but this time I'm trying to move with the times a bit.
  10. On a purely personal note I've just bought another new Puma Defender and while I always consider and look at the rivals again none of them matched my requirements as well as the Land Rover product. With reference to the heating and aircon: While it was that they were sometimes lacking and inefficient in the earlier models the current model is far, far better.
  11. Dun bri have them for around £75 - here.
  12. Anyone have any experience of these in real life? http://www.labcraft.co.uk/products/product/LED_Scenelite_%28SI6%29.html
  13. This comes up pretty often. Door / roof / windscreen seals etc. Take a look at this (click here).
  14. You submitted your post at 11.38pm on a Saturday night and it has been approved by me at 11.02 on Sunday morning. If you don't like the long standing procedures we have to protect our forum that's your problem. Sitting on the side and bitching is unlikely to further your acceptance and ability to meet like minded people
  15. The procedure goes quite a way to protect the forum from spammers and scammers. Requiring new users to go pass through a short period of post approval is a proven and effect way of dealing with the issue. There's nothing whatsoever stopping new members being accepted and being able to meet like minded people as their posts will still show up even if there is a short delay in them actually appearing.
