LR wax the latest Puma's less than the 2007 ones. TBH apart from engine, drivetrain and some cockpit and panel differences / materials the vehicles are still very similar to all the earlier Defender models. There's a load of info on the forum already about their weak points corrosion wise and where to spray and squirt Waxoyl and similar products.
We seem to get so many threads about various aspects of insurance I think it might be an idea to pull all the threads together or even start a dedicated section.
It sort of reminds me of that bit in Only Fools & Horses where Del Boy is in a pub trying to act cool but falls sideways when someone raises the bar flap.
So if I go into my Land Rover dealer to buy something for my Puma and the guy behind the counter presents me with stuff in Britpart packaging all is well with the world?

Insurance is one of those questions that comes up again and again. A lot of people speak highly of NFU - I've been with them for years and only deal with my local branch. I would personally no longer insure with Flux, I had other vehicles with them but it was just too much hassle come renewal time.
How long is a bit of string - meaning it all depends on how good a job you want? Material costs are fairly small so doing the preparation yourself will cut the cost considerably as will a cash in hand type job.
DIY would obviously be much cheaper and not really that demanding.
