  1. You can do away with the speed sensor & plug the hole, the relay kit I bought from Devon4x4 doesn't use the sensor. But you have to remember to disengage OD below 30mph.
  2. Do you want the extension bit you sent me back,?? even though somehow you screwed up the bolt hole locations
  3. I removed them as the batteries I have fitted needed more space thst the original clamp J bolts took up.
  4. If the battery is secure, you can do away with those bowls, I took them off my 110 ages ago.
  5. Quite likely as GKN don't make that OD anymore & Devon 4x4 bought all the spares stock & doubt they will have parts made when stock is exhausted, Vulcan Bomber on here has diagrams for all the gaskets.
  6. Clean all the earth wires at bulkhead bolt adjacent to clutch pedal assembly
  7. The gear knob lower part should be esdy enough to get made is a alloy machined part, the lid with switch & led should be available from Devon 4x4. Or just find a on/off switch to fit the dash or on gearlever.
  8. There is a gkn strip down thread by reb78 in the Defender forum that will help you strip yours apart. They use ATF only, don't use anything thicker. Also in out tech archive index is a link to the owners handbook & fitting instructions,
  9. No numbers on it, I can't exactly remember where or who I got it from but it's the same as the pictures posted earlier
  10. It's the MO sump for the GKN overdrive for LR Defenders.
  11. Not at this time, I may decided to modify the MO sump so it's a bit shorter so it doesn't clash with my TB deep sump.
  12. I bought the MO version but it doesn't fit if the transfer box has the bigger sump on, the OD & TB clash, they both need part of the same space, so it either one or the other.
  13. As the 300tdi engine moved up & further forward it needed a longer cable, so the original short cable was discontinued, as the long one fits both engines.
  14. Same as mine I add some photos in a few minutes, my previous cable was looped next to clutch pedal assembly
  15. Make a big loop with the excess length, the original short cable is no longer available.
  16. Still waiting on good weather & need some time off work to get my overdrive refitted & see how it behaves. I will get to it sometime.
