  2. Good god! the wife gets 31mpg on her 300 tdi manual, and she is pretty hard on a car.

  4. Swanny I think lots of the compies looked at SS1 and SS2 then did SS2, as they all said SS1 was going to take too long.
  5. There was a few breakages, we missed the results as the marshalls were packing the course away. I saw some quality driving today.
  6. I have never had a problem with Craddocks, or DLS, Paddocks have taken the p*ss so many times now that I will not use them. I tend to support my local bloke anyway as by the time the postage is added its about the same price,

  8. I live off a twisty narrow road, so at least once a week cars end up in the ditchs and once a day in winter, some get out but a lot wander down our lane asking if I will pull them out as I own a Landrover or 3. some get pulled out others dont. depending their attitude.

  12. "get rid of it asap" dream on, there are thousands running about with no problems, do you change the tyres every year just incase you may get a puncture with a half worn tyre?

  14. I did the ones on my rangie a couple of times, got it down to about 30 mins once out.

We went up today, took the car as once in the carpark I may has well driven up in that old centre steer thing in the back of the shed. not a great deal of autojumble, lots of club stands, was told to leave the museum as dogs are not allowed, ( no signs) we had 3 hours there and saw everything twice. Had a few hundred quid in my pocket to buy a kenlowe and new radiator for her Disco, came home with most of it. met a few friends paid my subs to the Disco owners club, and renewed LRO subs Kev was twisting my arm. Driffield next weekend.
  18. My 94 200 tdi has later axles & anti roll bars, but not the rubber doughnut from the 300. I think they made it up as they went?
