I have a 2 inch lifton my disco. at speed the steering is a bit vauge, but the 265/75 muds wont help either, try the lift, see how you feel you can always swap the bushes after, but then you are into altering the prop as the angle is a bit extreem for the uj.

I had similar problems with mine, it turned out to be the live feed to the alarm and other things that was corroded.

Bri I have a disco parts ( I think) removable towbar here spare if you want it? cost me £50 iirc.

You may need to grind a bit from the inside of the wheel Dave.

The drill works but only slowly and forwards, any local garage will adjust it for you. it takes a few mins.

I have used MM for years, never yet had a problem, Paddocks however? I wonder if they could find there own behinds using both hands. lying cheating etc.

I have defender arches on the bobtail its just a case of marking up, cutting and folding a lip to fix them to. about an hour per corner.

I bought and paid via paypal for a set of wheels, the guy said he could deliver for £20, also paid. after a few weeks with no response and no answering of the phone, I happened to be nearby, the guy **** himself when I stood on his doorstep, I got the wheels and £20 back, I was tempted to leave him with a need for dental work, but decided not to. -
Yea my 1971 bobtail, was done years ago, on the V5 it says MPV? its hardly a people carrier is it?

I have 3 SONY MEX BT2500 radios fitted in 3 cars, well one car and 2 discos, the disco on bfg muds struggles to be heard, I would love an external mic, one thing I do like about them is the ability to play MP3 cds, 90+ tracks on one disc.

If you look on ebay under delivery,there are a few people offering one way delivery at a quid a mile.

If you buy a southdown one, make sure you buy the towing bit for a 90/110, the disco one they sell is ok on standard tyres and no lift, in 265/75s and a lift the towbar is about 3 inch too high, the 90/110 one has more holes.

Me too, a quick scrape on the bumper takes most of it off.
