  9. just returned the britpart hinges i bought from main dealer for my defender, the "new" hinges had more play in them than some of the hinges that are already fitted. parts bloke did not bat an eyelid when i said how carp they were !!! Paul

Dirty Harry, i suggest you move quickly because ther is time limits on sorting it out, i speak from experience on this, couple of years ago i bought a volvo v70 and within two days it was knackered, Phoned VOSA and they re-inspected the vehicle but due to them taking there time garage that MOT'd the car got away with a warning as we were 1 yes ONE !!! day out, to say i was unhappy was a understatement !!! and dont even get me going about trading standards or the credit card company !! Section 75 of consumer credit act is great but banks have all the get outs !!!! Paul

  17. Grass ?? do you mean advise VOSA of a test station not performing there duties both legally AND morally ??? I find it incredible that you can make a comment like that to be honest, would you be impressed if a car, just issued with a new MOT crashed into you or your vehicle due to it being unroadworthy ??   21. my filter started leaking this week, maybe a coincidence or something sinister ??? i dont have the wire from filter either, got the plug landy side but ive been advised that it aint strictly required, i posted friday about it. Paul
  22. i fitted new one because i was in a hurry, but im not sure if it can be rebuilt, i chucked the old one but at least i got spare wiper switch now so that means the one i got fitted will last forever lol paul
