    i have the same problem with my 90. exmoor works for aduts aswell

    assume you have a disco 2 td5 auto. it will tow 3.5 tonne. you can use the 3rd gear lock up for slow speed towing, will lock at 45mph not 50ish as in top. you could also use low range for steep stuff and manouvering. make sure the engines in tip top condition aswell as the box

    lara's 2.8 td5 is stroked. je engineering did it. it cost a reported £10k

    they will rebore, you can buy over sized piston. it won't bore enough for a sleeve though.

    i'm guessing the td5 ran before the gearbox swap? Not sure if the gearbox would require all the perameteres to run. The oil pump is engine driven. Worth giving ashcrosts a call?

    there interchangeable. Although i expect to find a complete engine for not much more. The later 15p heads are a better design

    I wouldn't like to attempt that on a motorbike let alone a 110. If you could summerise the trip it would help us hopefuls

    all audi engines are logditudinal. there as a guy on the net putting a audi V6 tdi in a 90. they use ZF auto boxes so that would be easy. Someone like REVO TECHNIK could sort out the ECU for the imobiliser defeat etc. the 3.0L v6 tdi is a stroming engine, my dad has one
