  1. Plenty more in that, what you on about?
  2. If chunky rust then it will come off and end up in the oil, harming stuff. A bit of surface rust likely isn't a problem.
  3. A bit of contact cleaner squirted about often works wonders on those sorts of switches.
  4. I'm assuming, that given the condition, it wasn't this one : Military truck in Taunton rams through police road block - BBC News
  5. Another 5 minutes and you'll have it driving around on the trailer....
  6. It's certainly a bit higher, yes, looking at the back. This conversion is much more similar to Alu-cabs options: Hercules Roof Conversion | Alu-Cab Global Icarus Roof Conversion | Alu-Cab Global
  7. Without the space above the roof, I'd imagine very difficult indeed.?
  8. Drivelodge look just like a smaller lifting roof, nothing in them.
  9. Drivelodge don't appear to have beds in them, let alone a sprung base bed, or do they? If I were to make an overlander type vehicle with a large budget, then this sort of roof with a bed upstairs would be very high on list of desirables - but the whole project will most likely remain just desirable, aka vapour.
  10. That's just brilliant. I bet you are pleased.
  11. It says cad and cutting files included.
  12. That casting looks amazing quality for the setup you had!
  13. No, but they are only a few miles from me...
  14. It's more likely you either have air in the system somewhere, or your pedal pushrod needs adjustment/is not suitable.
  15. Did you help lift it out the van...
  16. I am more confused about this than the £200K website I've been building today.
  17. You should still see 12V between the wire and earth, it will drop to 0 once connected to earth, as the voltage drop will then be across the bulb. If you don't have 12V then suspect the switch as above.
  18. I give the slitting disc a squirt with WD40 before cutting Ali, possibly advisable, but never had one explode. Makes the cutting much smoother.
  19. A lot of people just use the brake light switch to run the pump, and find it more than adequate, I think @simonr used one like this on hid electric Freelander?
  20. To be honest, most of the destructive rust happens from inside and along unsealed seams, with the seams properly sealed (unlike from the factory) and the cavities copiously filled with a good wax, there shouldn't be any problems, IMHO.
