  1. Surely this is 7/8" inside and 1 3/8" outside? No idea on source, but maybe that helps.
  2. There's been a few threads of similar ilk recently, feels like we are becoming a group of old men who can't wait to choke on their frothy brown beer in exasperation at the state of affairs.
  3. Be nice if the money made it into more philanthropic ventures rather than being hosed on this sort of thing.
  4. Done it with diesel, but not sure I am brave enough to do petrol!
  5. D&F Propshafts, £160 + VAT each last year, that's wide angle 1310 joints and greasable joints/slipper Made to spec, with slipper joint options etc exactly as you want, much cheaper than any of the off the shelf jobbies.
  6. Agreed there shouldn't be, but on an RRC V8 it is rubber-hanger mounted to the transfer. I always thought it weird in a way, but perhaps it is there so they don't need a flexi section at all?
  7. On an RRC/Disco the transfer box area mount is attached to the transfer box mount, with a rubber, so not hard mounted to the transfer case. That said, there's no flexi in there at all on an RRC.
  8. They are impressive vehicles, but they are < 80K vs nearly twice that projected for the SVX defender
  9. Quoting myself here to clarify -why anyone on earth should need 600BHP or 700BHP as in some of the luxury SUVs in the states have is completely and utterly beyond me. I suppose it may make some people feel better about themselves, but honestly, what a horrendous waste of resources, you could build 5 full size budget family vehicles for the same.
  10. You or I could @FridgeFreezer , but many out there couldn't possibly manage it.... agree not cheap, but also not absolutely terrible for those wanting to run leaky fuel buckets: Bluetooth Fully Programmable Distributor • Alfaholics
  11. Nice to see you here, Dave. Back in the madhouse!
  12. Modern pink is a direct replacement for blue. That said, I prefer blue, easier to see when needing a change.
  13. Yup, very common, and easy, they manufacturer can supply suitable brackets.
  14. I would disconnect one cooler line and see if the line/cooler spits out ATF, that would show the pump is OK. Otherwise if may just be fluid level..... Without a dipstick I'm not sure how to top up, but your suggestion sounds fine, assuming it is low, as far as too much, possibly but as the internals are bathed in it, I doubt you would do too much damage with too much, just maybe start some leaks....
  15. Does the autobox not have a dipstick?
  16. Try a search for Alpicool on here, there's a whole thread on compressor fridge with real world consumption data.
  17. How slowly is slowly? An earth fault will maen the gauge goes up to max in 5 or so seconds, it won't be instant as there's a lot damping in the movement. I'd be checking the gauge electrical connections. Otherwise, as above, swap the gauge out.
  18. Excellent, very good news! (for those that like clockwork 😛 )
  19. Painting chrome is almost impossible, it is too hard to scuff properly to get a key. New rims would be my choice, flog what you have!
  20. Can confirm, LGT is great and getting water on the windscreen, and has a chopped nose...
