  1. Foam is a conspiracy to make you buy more toolboxes. Prove me wrong.
  2. Check the orifice size, as that is is used to tune the assistance given by the PAS system - smaller =heavier, if it wasn't obvious, as it is a flow restriction. The P38 style pump is the same.
  3. Double-roller chain, Turner will be able to advise. Check the rocker shafts for wear on the under side, or you are wasting your money with a higher lift cam. I run an H200 with Rhoads lifters which allow you to get away with an auto -sings at higher revs
  4. Same, lovely things to have on an exhaust/inlet.
  5. Exactly. Braze silicon bronze over whatever you make to ensure it looks like it is made of brass.
  6. For comedic effect, it should be oversized to make it look like Sid is a wind up toy. You know you want to....
  7. A sheet of stainless on the back of the tyre and you've a nice place to sit for lunch/have a cook-up
  8. It's a good way to steam up the windscreen -ask me how I know.....
  9. I see quite a few round here too, perhaps it has picked up recently.
  10. Agreed, just fit a decent single and be done with it.
  11. Honestly the only reason people used twin shocks in the past was because older shock tech was just not as good as it is today. Single will be more than you need unless you suddenly need to go and do Baja.
  12. It depends where you put it.... There's quite a bit of science around insulation to prevent damp/condensation.
  13. FWIW I have see 110 hi cap tub fitted to a disco without shorting things and recking it looks loads better than a series/defender standard tub against the disco bodywork.
  14. Of which I would likely use just 4....
  15. Or fit the bolt to the wheel carrier and have the keep on the crossmember.
  16. Round to the bush. That said, some aftermarket shocks don't use them
  17. You know as I came back I was wondering this.... but equally lovely.
  18. It's true, sunrise was beautiful this morning.
  19. Yup, the 90s are great, especially with sanding./scotch pads on them for cleaning/deburring etc.
