  1. Nice 110 double cab/SW/Utility SW Freelander 1 RRC would be nice too.
  2. Date: usually about last weekend in september, date not released online yet Venue: Dalton Barracks, nr Abingdon, Oxfordshire Show: Abingdon 4x4 Festival Organiser: Phoenix LRC Website: http://abingdon4x4festival.com/
  3. on a related note, do the Td5's have different types of electronic transducers?
  4. I'd check that wire's connections aren't loose. Have a look at the condition of the alternator belt? Actually, what year is yours? my head is in 200tdi mode!
  5. I guess that coolant-wise, it doesnt want anything special? Halfords have post and pre 1998 stuff. This OK?
  6. Do you mean the Speedo or the rev counter? Speedo - Either normal, or if its getting worse could be loose speedo/broken speedo cable. Or nackered speedo head like mine! Rev counter - mine did the waving about randomly when the alternator belt was on the way out. Is it slow to respond when you up the revs quickly? HTH
  7. Hi Jason! Have a word with TJN on here They did Iceland a couple of years ago . Their steering wheel took a pounding
  8. Has it punched through the clutch fork?
  9. I would look at getting the AEU2522 As fitted to early 110/90. They are supposed to be the strongest LR CVs. But with your 32 spline stub axles, you would need to change them for longer ones.
  10. I have the socket type rather than the box ones, only trouble is the depth of it is not quite long enough.
  11. On the ARB front, check out X-Eng's disconnectable one . Not related to them, or got one, but great kit
  12. Happy new year to all! Heres to a successful year of Land Rovering
  13. Thats one I've been meaning to read for ages! Thanks for the reminder
  14. I believe there are more regulations that will make getting them to conform harder. This is the reason the BFG KM was discontinued and I guess the reason the Cooper ST is too. Noise levels/rolling resistance etc.
  15. OK then. That was what I was expecting to hear! Cheers
  16. I'll start worrying when it goes up past the normal tdi coolness . Thanks for all the help
  17. Sorry, I know the engine temp will go up without coolant stuff. But how will the gauge behave in the cab?
  18. OK, I'll be keeping an eye on it . Will the temp drop right off or will it rocket up if I loose coolant? (on the gauge this is) Cheers
  19. Thoroughly enjoyed it . I wouldn't have been stood where james was Stunning places around there, would love to drive some of that! Also noticed the Disco
  20. I bought a set as I needed some other things from MUD. Still yet to fit them . When I ordered they were lost somewhere between here and the USA, Mud kept me posted . Great service
  21. As far as I know, the D2 body is only longer behind the rear wheels, just the over-hang. Land rover used D1 bodies on the D2 test mules, jsut with an extended rear. I would have thought it do-able. But not just a nuts and bolts swap AFAIK. HTH
  22. You say you can't get to motorway speeds... is this because the truck is revving its nuts off? If so then the 35" will up the gearing, not sure how much though. I would have thought they would be better on the road than special tracks .
