Ed Poore
They are slight @Stellaghostoverkill but I only paid scrap value for the big ones ("small" were free) and contributed towards fuel for delivery in my defence. I have been trying to find out if there are any bridges being built locally to see if they'll swap for some more sensibly sized ones for a garage... I know I had a tidy up and was very carefully picking them up with the pallet forks on the JCB, obviously had to take the top ones off to get to the bottom ones to move first. Anyway after carefully picking up one at a time and placing them in the new out-of-the way location I got to the last 3 small ones which were on some temporary bearers. It was getting dark, I was getting fed up and thought **** it and just slide the forks under all three. She lifted them comfortably and I know it's about the 2t mark that the arse starts getting a little light so I doubt all three weighed a tonne. JLM
So what did the weight of it all come out to in the end?
Escape
We never got around to weighing it. We were very happy to get it mounted and the winch wired up the night before we left for Seven Sisters. 😉
JLM
It looks really good, inspires me to try make one for mine. Especially now I've got my CNC plasma table working and I can cut out the bits myself.
elbekko
Thanks. It'll have to come off at some point for some better paint, we can weigh it then
