Boothy Posted October 5, 2008 Share Posted October 5, 2008 Bit spooky this, Following changing, newish recon steering box, brand new knackered ZF74 steering pump, high pressure fuel pump, left hand newish alterator, all recently failed at West Harptree For the first time this year following a hectic week I don't think I've anything left to do, or know of anything I'd like to fix or impove before we go (with the exception of the driver and co-driver), all that left is near side door mirror to change and a full 7 days to go, Now I do fear the worst. Well, after a load of hassle of getting them to say if DOT approved tyres rather than E-marked were acceptable, they then asked if I had ever done any challenge events before because the even was aimed at novice drivers and beginners?... There was no mention of that in the invite I received via email... So I said I think I'll give that one a miss... All paid up and booked... I think, just waiting to here back from Neil to confirm.
