Mo Murphy
You'd need to be very careful in any country as impersonating a police officer always carries a hefty penalty. You could of course, if you have a hankering for blue light driving, join the police, ambulance or fire services rather than be a wannabe ! Mo (who drives quite legally on blue lights on occasion )

western
& my use is for motorsport off the pubic highway unless the roads are under a road closure notice for non-public use while the event is running, plus can be used if attending a breakdown. Happyoldgit
it's actually illegal to have anything resembling 'blue -- special warning lights' fitted even if the are not switched on. Certainly is, the only unofficial exception is for bona fide preserved [ie classic / old / preserved] emergency vehicles. However that is unofficial and not written in law, even so the blue lamps are supposed to be removed and not just covered or rendered inoperative whilst on the public highway. CwazyWabbit
only if it's registered with NHS/DVLA as a ambulance/blood/organ transport, the use of blue lights is tightly controlled. I was just taking the mick with my comment about carrying human organs and my subsequent post pointed out it was illegal to have blues at all, including a link to the reference... Apologies if it came across differently.
