discomikey
*diesel* a plate of some sort of shiny metal, stainless, or even ali will do to dissipate heat. mount a plate using a couple of exhaust clamps (if you cant picture it all will become clear when you look at one) and jobs done. it wont radiate much heat if the plate itself is not touching the exhaust. L19MUD
Discomikey has the right idea I'm sure my 200tdi has a similar arrangement on the bottom of the front pipe PluS it will be cheap and easy to make

Team Idris
Another vote for Agriemach . The Dark grey webbing is good quality and after a few years on the exhaust pipe tube it then went around the silencer. But shiny plates of stainless are very good too. And I may use ply wood as well.........
