oneandtwo
Ripped its heart out and the rest is going for scrap tommorow sorry! But in my defence I do still have two much better MOT fail 300tdi 90's should I fancy rebuilding yet another. I had to laugh at the front discs! landroversforever
Maybe it's just me but I hate seeing stuff needlessly scrapped!
Anderzander
Me too - would it be expensive to post me a square foot of birmabright that I could use for filling holes in my series panels ?
landroversforever
What state is the rear tub in? Especially round the mounts.
daveturnbull
There's got to be loads of eBay fodder you could pick off it still. I know of a home for the fan switch if that still works...
Disco-Ron
Sacrilege to scrap it..... you'd get a reasonable price from someone who wants to build a 'new' truck with that as a starting point. ....
qwakers
how much will you get for that scrap? keep it for a couple of months and ill have it off you at scrap + 10% and ill collect.

Bowie69
Are people serious? Have you looked at the pictures? Literally nothing has been maintained, and where it has, it was literally held together with bailer twine! Anything you salvage will take more work than is worthwhile -it's a complete bucket waiting to swallow your wallet. However if anyone is really wanting to save it, let them put their money where their mouth is...
oneandtwo
It has gone now but as bowie69 has observed, it was a complete load of rubbish. There was nothing left on it that wasn't bent or rotten. Even the axle cases were rusted through by the spring mounts, and one of the trailing arms had snapped and been sleeved back together. It doesn't owe me anything, I only paid a couple of hundred for it, and that was because despite all the abuse, the 200tdi was still in good order. Orgasmic Farmer
Sold a truck cab roof and rear panel with more dents than that for £150. It doesn't need to be pretty on a challenge truck If the tub cappings aren't rusty they are definitely worth removing Otherwise I don'y think there is much on there to save. But then one mans trash is another mans' treasure
