  1. There's one down the road from Nash Oakland, near Kingspan. Can't, for the life of me, remember the name
  2. I'm back up again in August, with the kids
  3. Ric and Shirley are great people. You can camp anywhere you like as long as it's not in with the cows or on crops. The wood is great for small groups
  4. I did some fridge assessing this weekend
  5. I didn't buy the Dellonda 60litre. I bought an Alpicool 45 instead.
  6. Just got back from 5 days at Nash Oaklands, found a new field - ten of us. Fire pits are allowed and wood is there to cut (we even cut a couple of tonnes for the farm, as a favour). There's spring water at the farm, that's it. 'Our field' was big enough to set up a range for musket and rifled mussle loader practice
  7. Love the speedo I know a coupleof old chevy guys - where are you to?
  8. After a couple of hours, spent admiring your wood, Mike; is there any chance you knock some up for me? Obviously I'll pay you for giving me your wood
  9. I was actually admiring Mike's knob (s). I do like wood
  10. Paraffin and diesel, paraffin and petrol or Jizer are all better than straight diesel. Use an old stiff brush to work the liquid into the teath. It needs to be super clean. Does the free spool lever work? Winch electrics (as Escape mentioned) need a live, earth and switched feed live. The earth is underneath the motor, on it's little ownsome. Live feed is the pole at the point of the triangle (red), the switched feed, directional poles are the two side by side at the base of the triangle (yellow and black)
  11. Mike, if you had said, I have a whole load of billet 300tdi gear knobs - if you want some...
  12. It's most likely one of the generic chinese copies of the TMax - the easiest way to tell is to take it apart. The Tmax brake design wasn't simple and Chinese makes/copies, like GEW, AEW, etcoften reverted to the cheaper warn copy. It may be an early T max - the EW range was yellow, and it doesn't use the normal splined motor. But there was no EW 12500. The free spool is common on Warn, Magnum, GEW, AEW, Superwinch and a host of others (very similar to the T max EW, but that has an improved mount as this type of freespool is a bit carp at letting water in. James, I probably have a set of tie bars for it - your if you want them. I may have some other bits. Strip it down and send me the pictures and I'll talk you through the re-build
  13. To be fair, i'm not that fussed....😀
  14. And that has a bluetooth connection
  15. I think Mobicool are the same as well - all made by Waeco I think
  16. I'm just about to invest in a Dellonda C15. It's one of the generic fridges made by one of the big manufacturers. Low electrical consumption. Reasonably robust. Heavily discounted...and 60litres. I rarely go to 'kitted out' campsites anymore - preferring places like Nash Oaklands. I also go for longer periods, with the kids. My threeway fridge is getting very tired and gas is becoming an utter pain to get (in wallet and in practicality)
  17. Drums are better stoppers than discs. But discos are easy to maintain, don't need setting up and are good when wet - and cheaper. My old Norton Commando (1969) had drums, with a huge air intake for cooling - best set of stoppers on nay on my many bikes
  18. My first stop would be Falken. The Wildpeak range are exceptional. The AT has ridiculous grip The MT 01 is the best MT I've used in 40 years - still waiting to find a surface it can't conquer
  19. Douglas would be best - lasts 40 years without treatment. Elm board would be even better, but that's rarer than an honest politican
