i used to have a tom tom but it died on me so i got a garmin nuvi 255w with full euro mapping and as said above the address input is not the best(you have to tell it if your looking for addys in wales for example)and while it works ok i have known it send me some silly ways to places (even different ways to the same place!!) so i will be going back to tom tom when this one packs up

i used to work for mercedes commercials and thought the sprinter engine was great
my break down van was a 316 lwb all ways loaded to the hilt and that flew along
the smaller 4 pots were still good too
rob
o he knows the error of his ways now lol
(he is used to modern tat that has auto lights)
but battery is duff anyway so still needs a new one (wont take a charge properly anymore)
rob
just looking for a normal battery that will hold out a bit longer really so going for size to try and gain that
unless there are better options for sensible money
rob
lol would be good seeing one winching it self out of a muddy bomb hole
also does anyone else think the side window line is very much like the new scirroco??
rob
mine also needs the reader to generate a pass key to allow any transfers etc
but im sorry it happened to you chap and are the bank refunding your money?
rob
hi all whats the biggest battery i can fit on a 90 truck cab?
looking for physical size so it lasts longer when my dippy mate leaves his lights on again too
also best place to buy it from too
thanks rob
as said rust over and above all (well within reason) mechanicals
just make sure it drives smooth through all gears and revs steering does as it should then look for rust EVERYWHERE
hope that helps
rob
my 265,s had no trimming on the rrc
and my mate has 255 65 16 on a stock disco so i would go for the 265,s so it looks the part from the off
as for settling in they dont drop much at all chap but then the rrc does have the boge shock on the ball joint so they might a little on a disco
rob
i did say dont belive there lift specs as there out
that said throw a set of 265 75 16,s on it and will look lots better
the rangie in the pic below had the same rear springs then i put the 265,s on in 2nd pic for a idea
rob
hi and welcome
to be fair both sound fairly normal
a disco is a big heavy car and isnt built for racing starts so does upset them a little and the r380 gearbox isnt the smoothest one in the world so give it a oil change and monitor it but dont worry too much
rob
hi all what probs would i find when fitting a disco r380 to a lt77 equiped 200tdi defender?
im thinking where will the gear levers etc come out in relation to dash etc
thanks rob
