  1. i believe 245/75R16 will fit with no modification. This has been covered before so a search may throw up a definiative answer. Pete.
  2. You might want to read this with regards Golddigger. Clicky. Pete.
  3. Difflock do +75mm ones but they are GRP not flexi. Clicky Pete.
  4. I run them on the Discovery with Gwynn Lewis shock mounts and +5 OME shocks, Si's wide angle ball joint and cranked trailing arms and am very happy with them. They do occasionally get a bit noisy if a bit of muck gets between the top hat and the spring but that's to be expected. Pete.
  5. And if it has electronic diesel control it's likely to be an auto so you won't push start it anyway. Pete.
  6. Mine did the same. I repaired mine by drilling all the rivets out (they were loose) and tapping the body of the pump (I think i went for M5) and bolting the lid back on using cap head bolts and loctite. Been like it for 6 months still works fine and doesn't leak any more. You will need to take the pump off the engine to do this. Pete.
  7. Just because I don't think there are enough photo's in this thread here are some more of mine (Credit due to Mrs Raceface120 for taking them.) Pete.
  8. I have to say I'm glad we stayed at home last night rather than camping, especially after I saw the sprinkling of snow on the cars at 6 this morning when I took the dog out for a walk. It was a shame to miss todays laning however I don't suppose the conditions were anything like as nice today as they were yesterday. Pete.
  9. Well had a really good day. Was good to see some old faces and meet some new ones. As part of Mo's group we did some really nice lanes. Here's a few pictures from the day. Met a right bunch of reprobates having a chat in the middle of nowhere. . Hope they have as good weather tommorrow Pete.
  10. Chris, do you or indeed anyone else have memory map 2004 overlays showing these routes that could be emailed to me, please ? Pete.
  11. I haven't managed to shift them yet either. Pete.
  12. You can use something like this from RS Thermocouple connectors other suppliers are available. As Tony says you can twist the similar metal wires together and then tape, spot with epoxy or apply glued heatshrink also. Pete. editted link as I linked to the wrong thing. DOH!
  13. If you mean for the gauge then it's on the stat housing. Pete.
  14. Yes, it is a tapered thread. As to wether it's correct for the application or not I couldn't say, but it seems to be an easily available fitting. If you need a tap I almost certainly have one you could borrow if needs be. Pete.
  15. As it is an Auto I'll wager it does have EDC, however it may well still be for the EGR system in which case it probably won't make any difference to the performance as stated. To be honest I ditched all the EDC off mine when it started giving me grief and have now replaced that particular sensor with a thermocouple that allows me to read the water temp at the cylinder head. Pete.
  16. Don't know if it's standard but, mine is 1/8th NPT for the thermocouple fitting. HTH Pete. editted to add the madman system also uses 1/8th NPT
  17. To be honest I don't know, but I would expect to see higher fuel consumption and potentially black smoke, with it disconnected (you may also get the check engine light on the dash), I think that the ecu will use this sensor to determine the engine temperature and control the fueling with respect to engine temp. Pete.
  18. It's the cylinder head coolant temperature sensor for the Electronic Diesel Control. Pete.
  19. I am trying to source a replacement bearing but have so far had not much success, and have been a little busy with other things recently so the project has been put on a back burner for the moment. My thread is here :- Clicky. Pete.
  20. Having checked my tent yesterday I have discovered it was damaged in the last house move and is not useable. So we won't be camping, which i'm not sure is a bad thing with the way the weather has been. However as we only live just over an hour away we will meet you in the hotel carpark saturday morning at about 8:30. and then trundle home in the evening after a bit of socialising and return Sunday morning for round 2. Chris can you take myself and SWMBO off the camping list please. I have PM'd Turbo to let him know. Pete.
  21. And seeing as it runs on petrol surely you can MegaSquirt it. . Pete.
