The car has to have it's own insurance. You will find it in the small print of your insurance . If you don't the police that stop you will find it for you when they charge you with no insurance :-) They do this so you can't own several cars and insure one and drive them all on the one insurance

Same as Australia where car rego ( road tax) has third party insurance included. So this make it that if you have rego you are insured. And of course anyone can drive anyone else's car and be insured

I read about it over here in Aus What they want to do is you have to have insurance on any car you own that is not SORN So if you have a car in your back yard that is not SORN and not insured then you can get up to 8 points and £100 to £1000 fine The idea is that 1 million cars on UK roads are not insured and the police and government want to crack down on this. But at the moment they have to catch them on the road driving the car. With this new law thy car turn up to your house and fine you there and then with out you even being in the car As said was in the Sunday paper here in Australia so goods know how you lot don't know about it. They use that excuse here in Aus. But when you look into it the average k's they do a year over all is 20,000 which is 12000 mile so the same as the Uk. After all what most people do in most parts of the world is go to work come home , go to the shops , and take the kids to school and they don't travel to the other side of the country to do that. The price of gas up for two reasons One is the cold winter in Europe and USA has made more demand and short supply The other is the fact the pound is pretty much worthless compared to what it was, and as the uk has to buy most of it fuel this cause a bit of problem. look at the pound against the Aussie dollar. Used to be £1 was worth $2.3 to $2.5. That was only a couple of years ago. Now today £1 is worth $1.55. That is a hell of a difference Ali

Mm totally disagree with that OME are good shocks. Their not the best but they are not the worse either. They are in fact well priced for what you get.you can get fox or Olins or Rieger if you want better but at a grand or more a corner make OME look cheap After all they check them for use and height after 300 miles and a yearly check if you want for free of charge and a three year warranty I had scrap iron ones once and they were totally carp and had to replace 4 in the space of 6 months Since then I have used OME and not broken one and I have drive in winch challenge and on cars that I have driven around Australia on corrugated roads with no problems Ali

Over the years I have given OME shocks plenty of abuse on different conditions from Uk challenging to touring Aus. And I have never had a problem But the do have a 3 year garentee and come with a service book and maneul. Which I have for both my 90 and 110. I fitted the one son my 110 but ARB fitted the ones on the 90 Pretty rare to have problem with them but are a good company and stand by their stuff Ali

Hi I have super pro and they are good I have them on my 90 and 110. the first ones Were from Bearmach But I am lucky enough to live in Brisbane where the super pro are made and the super pro garages have fitted mine most the time. So they are pretty cheap here You winge at the price of the set but that is a lot of bushes in a set. I tend to just buy them when I need them and not in the kit. May be a bit more over time but keeps the handbrake happy BTW as the Queensland State Manager for Australia's biggest carpet underlay company I like your thinking on carpet but wish more people went along with that Ali

Use 3.5 v 8 head bolts same stupid yank thread and work well What my 8274 was fixed to my Arb bumper with They cost about a quid each if that and from memory they come in three different sizes

When i did mine i was told to diloted some of the acid you put in your pool and clean the floor with that. It gets rid of all the oil and carp of the floor. Then wash with clean water and let dry and your ready to paint. Pretty easy i have a load of pool acid and you can buy it everywhere and it cheap
