  1. No Mickey, it was a smaller set with 7 or 8 screwdrivers. They were going free with their own brand oil initially but it looks like they had a load left over. That set looks pretty fancy Mo
  2. Bishers old man, I've been known to enjoy a bespoke muff myself, you know Though I must confess that these days I find my trusty old briar a more enjoyable experience Mo
  3. Bishers, my dear fellow, the switch for the parking brake light has me sold
  4. Is your spare one a black one, John ? If part1cle doesn't need it, perhaps you'd swap it for a couple of pints of that ale that you have a fondness for at the local ? Mo
  5. Oh hammers ! I love hammers.... and grinders ..... and welders Could this resistive wire be wound around the washer jet unit neatly to prevent freezing ?
  6. ya boo sucks to you, Steve. Go on, get back over that county borderline Mo
  7. Why not take a flask of hot water and save yourself all that gas bother ? Mo
  8. Halfords had a set of their pro range screwdrivers going recently for 1.99 ! I don't know if they still have any but worth a look. Mo
  9. errol, I've come to the conclusion that you think too much Mo
  10. Apologies, part1cle, for my almost duplicate posting on this board. Perhaps the mods would merge these 2 threads ? Mo
  11. No John, mine is a special aftermarket high security locking system which uses a fish slice, a tool missing from most criminals lock picking kits However, I plan to fit doors in the near future Mo
  12. Yes, that's spooky John, I read that one after I'd posted, perhaps the title triggered my question. From which vehicle would one get a black handbrake lever from ? Mo
  13. Is this the only known case of an effective land rover lock ? I always find a butter knife or teaspoon will open any land rover lock Mo
  14. A question for those of you who have converted to a Discovery or Range Rover hand brake lever. How are you getting on with it ? Is it still comfortable to use ? Have you found that you needed to beef up the seat box at all? I'll be doing this modification but before I start I'd like the benefit of other peoples experiences so that I can put fixes in for any issues during installation rather than modify afterwards Many thanks Mo
  15. Welcome to LR4x4 Mr. Torque I think the Disco 3 is monocoque AND chassis, so that rather smooths out your plans, I'm pleased to say. Good luck Mo Edited to correct a rather minor error on my part
  16. If we'd had some snow today I'd have helped but we've had none and no one needed pushing or pulling Mo
  17. Were those later hinges genuine items Malcolm ?
  18. IIRC Ali Read did this and I'm sure there's photos about somewhere on this forum. Mo
  19. Aren't all pattern parts the equivalent of a genuine part ? It's just that some are more equivalent than others Mo
  20. My vote goes for the switch too, they are prone to all sorts of problems once they start to fry Mo
  21. The only one that I know of Mark, is the Exmoor Trim one on this page at the bottom. Getting a barge would be unthinkable HTH Mo
  22. No Britpart seal that I've ever used has lasted longer than 9 months to a year. That's why I buy genuine seals now from a main dealer. If I were you I'd avoid any part with the word Britpart on it, in my experience they are not high quality parts and in my opinion do not represent good value for money. HTH Mo
