  1. I've read that sometimes the holes don't line up but I don't suppose that's such a problem. Mo
  2. All that work Sean, then you discover that your steering wheel is on the wrong side 😉🤣 Mo
  3. I wonder of you can buy fuel line to use with banjos like the braided brake and clutch lines. I know you can get leak off sets like that. Sho gotta purdy fuel line boy 😄 Mo
  4. Your worn out clutch pedal rubber is spoiling the look of your shiny new matting 😉 Mo
  5. Lockers are not much cop without appropriate tyres. You'll just spin both wheels on the axle instead of one. You will break even HD parts if you drive without any mechanical sympathy. The best line through an obstacle is often worth far more than a locker and a winch. HTH Mo
  6. It'll fit easily enough on your 200 defender Rich as you have a bit more room than the closer disco and 300 pumps. Still fiddly though. Mo
  7. All that money on expensive shinies and bespoke parts and then you buy bearmach bushes ! 🥴 Mo
  8. I've used them with no failures to date. So I can say they worked for me, whether they work for you, is dependant on prep, quality and luck ! 😇 Mo
  9. Soutie, do you have a link for the latex ? Mo
  10. I would wait to investigate the rear axle. See how it is after you've had your first drive, if it's still off centre then investigate. Mo
  11. Friction plate stuck to flywheel ? Bump start might help free it off perhaps. Mo
  12. I also don't know about an increase in power but it certainly smooths out the engine at higher revs. Mo
  13. Ah, poly v but they have no V, puzzling ! Time for my coat ...
  14. Erm no Sigi V belt - 200tdi Serpentine belt - 300tdi Mo
  15. That's a really good, neat job, Grant ! 👍 My seat box cover has a cut out for the tunnel, I take it this isn't the same size as the tunnel then ? Mo
  16. I'd put the engine and gearbox in before the bulkhead personally. Mo
  17. You must have a 200 Tdi Pete 🤣 Riding the waves of relentless torque ! Mo
  18. They could but the gearstick lock is a nice hi vis deterrent, more so than the less noticable pedal lock. Mo
  19. Been there Pete, knocking the column ujs off and getting them lined up right. My steering now locks at about 15° from 12 o'clock clockwise. Mo
  20. Yup me too but then I followed up with tightly twisted blue roll down each one and finished with a cotton bud. They all got water out. Mo
  21. I get the impression Ross, that standard hinges are just not shiny enough 🤣 Mo
  22. With water migrating about, have you properly dried out the threaded holes for the head bolts ? Water doesn't compress very well and can lead to erroneous torque readings. Mo
