  1. EP90 water ! gromit you've got the wrong stuff in your diffs and transfer box, it should be L' huile unless of course, it's scented, then l' eau is perfectly acceptable Mo
  2. Perhaps next year Jez could make his own video of his exploits. Following one vehicle would allow us to see all the trials and tribulations that they encounter on their way to the finish line and would give us a better idea of the course as we'd see more of it We didn't see much of Jez in the dvd and I'd certainly like to have seen more film of petal in action. Mo
  3. I would assume so Ralph but it's not working on either of my 2 speedos or yours so there is something we need to do to make it save (unless all three speedos are faulty, which I doubt). I wonder what it is ? Mo
  4. Purple/brown going in on pin 9 goes to the alarm/immobiliser light in the speedo head. Another dead end
  5. No, Ralph, brown/blue is perm live, alarm is pink. I can't find a purple/white in the wiring diagrams but I can find a purple/brown going to pin 9 of the 1060 connector. I'll investigate further. Mo
  6. Aha, many thanks Freeagent and Ralph . My curiosity is satisfied Mo
  7. Are you saying that this is the one to retain the trip meter reading, Ralph ? edit - just checked, that's the permanent 12v supply, Ralph which charges the battery inside the speedo. I have that one connected. Mo
  8. Suppliers list two of these, an early one and a later one. What's the difference ? My engine was fitted in '95 so I always order the early one which fits but I'm curious to know the difference. Anyone know ? Mo
  9. Ah, not just me then More detective work required methinks. Mo
  10. db, So it needed a rectifier too ! Glad to see you got it all fixed up for a lot less than the cost of a new one Mo
  11. All the stuff on my dash is still working marvellously If only I could find out why it won't save the trip meter reading, minor I know but I like these things to work as they should. Mo
  12. I thought that was Luton ! Must be an upstairs and a downstairs toilet ! :D Mo
  13. We'll need a comprehensive set of photos too please Graham Mo
  14. By Jingo, it works ! Well done Steve ! And thanks for the tip Bowie 69 Mo
  15. D90Disco, No trouble around here ... yet ! Where are you, Buntingford ? G. I use one of these, which I got off of ebay. It's a locking loop of steel in two halves. It stops the clutch pedal being pushed down. I've spoken to a couple of people who use the clutch claw and swear by them. I think they look really good but a little pricey for me HTH Mo
  16. Don't get the old Rangy type which has one shocker pointing forwards and one rearwards as the brackets will be wrong for yours. You need the one with 2 forward facing shock mounts. HTH Mo
  17. A simple pedal lock works well, easy to fit and remove and stops the clutch and brake pedal being used. It'll deter the casual thief. Mo
  18. Where can I get the memory map version from ? Mo
  19. Welcome Lars, to this little corner of Landroveringness Mo
  20. I think drunk drivers should be hung from the nearest tree to the point of their discovery. I'll be quite happy to assist. Mo
