I did a laning hol in Northumberland a few years ago. Some cracking 10+ mile lanes over the moors. Not sure how nerc has affected it all though now.

Just to update on this one. The chum with the air suspension problem opted to have 2ks worth of repairs done rather than face the risks of falling foul of his insurance company.

That's flippin' diabolical ! The more I read about engine reconditioners, the less inclined I'll ever be to use one. I'll take mine to Uncle Les if the need ever arises.

Back at 1915, good to see some old faces along with the younger ones and nice to meet new people - Kat, Pete and Jeanette (sp?) and Rupert
Great weekend, except for having to lie under the landy at 7am on a very cold sunday morning in the pouring rain removing the front prop to change a UJ (I'm told it wasn't extreme maintenance though as it wasn't at the top of a mountain, merely by a lake )
Thanks to Chris for not organizing it and to the boy 90 for navigating
Thanks to Puggers for the rope and for keeping us entertained in his supertanker

Walfy,
I believe the Germans used a radical approach to POWs during the invasion into the Soviet Union in '41. It may not have been pretty but it was cheap (budget for razor wire and posts, that's about it) ; might make a good case study.

Jason,
it's great fun to do but you WILL end up spending far more money that would buy you a much nicer much newer model. That said, if it's what you want to do then do it

Simonr is a closet psycobilly !
Far too many grebos on this site, too
What you need Puggers, is plenty of Motown, some rare groove, lots of Northern soul and some modern soul thrown in for good measure. If you need a must have soul album list preparing, I'd be only too happy to oblige.
