  1. Jamie, you are a style criminal for simply having to ask Mo
  2. Martin, I would post about this problem on as many forums as you can to make people aware of their shoddy work, then I'd email the rebuilders a link to each forum. Mo
  3. Sadly missed, they went great with a V8 in the days when I could afford to run one Mo
  4. Back to McDonald with the engine, methinks. Don't waste your time and money resolving their problem for them. Mo
  5. I don't think Jim is going to the Lakes until the middle of November. Mo
  6. They're lovely Ali, although you may need to take steps to avoid the worm drive Mo
  7. Nice one Steve I'm happy for Steve to pick up mine Puggers, just remember it's 110' not 100'
  8. Mine cost a tenner from Wickes last year, drills nice and slow Mo
  9. Another vote for pocketplus here and their backup software is good too Mo
  10. You need one of these probably. Fixed it everytime for me and a darn sight cheaper than an alternator Mo
  11. What version of tomtom are you using Doddel ? If you are using the old version 3, the tomtom programmes is reluctant to share the gps with another programme. If it's the new Ipaq 5935 all-in-one, we had trouble with Les Henson's one and couldn't get MM to read the satellites and then lost the tomtom's ability to find satellites too . It needed 3 sets of port settings and no combination of them could be made to work. Internet searches turned up a couple of sets of port settings but neither worked for Les' 5935. Do let us know how you get on Mo
  12. Put me down for it please, James. Mo
  13. Plan B - Make a box to hold your battery under the floor and put a second standard under seat fuel tank under the passenger seat, cut a filler out of an old tub and you won't even have to go through the window to fill it. Mo
  14. Aw, it's a land rover question Mo
  15. Jubilee clips are the cheap and cheerful solution Had them on mine for many years. Mo
  16. Sounds like a punctured float to me. Mo
  17. I was at Llanerchindda this weekend just gone. They've spent some money, it's improved over Nick's time there and we had no attitude from them when told that we were eating in Llandovery (perhaps they've got used to the idea that some prefer to eat elsewhere) although I did make it quite clear when I booked that we did not want evening meals. I enjoy staying there and whilst the new owners are not as laid back as Nick was they are making the effort and investing money in the place and I did see them with a stand at Billing ! My tuppence worth Mo
  18. You're not driving a Jap thing on our trip are you, Puggers ? Mo
  19. I suppose it would be wishful thinking to think that the costs would be a severe blow to their finances. Mo
