  1. 110 Station wagon or 3 door?? What kind of age/ mileage?
  2. Yep, it can be done. A quick site search throws these threads up: 1 2
  3. I expected there to be a similar kind of review in the press over here. I haven't seen much though. Rather surprising.
  4. Watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm gutted that Hammond didn't get there first. Those dogs were...erm..... the dogs doohdahs. Hope to see a return of the Top Gear series soon
  5. Holyzues has a Jake Wright tank in his 90. I put it in about 4 or 5 years ago when I owned the truck. He may be able to advise you on the condition of it now also.
  6. Ian, What/ how did you paint the rocker covers and plenum with? (Not P*** taking, geniunely interested )
  7. I don't think that you can buy the socket seperately. I think you'll have to fork out for a new controller James (£££ )
  8. Jake Wright stock anodised fuel tanks for 90's. I can't seem to find them on their website though.
  9. Oi.... I've managed to keep that quiet so far
  10. When I purchase my D2 at 96k it had just had a turbo replacement because of this very fault. I'm now at 126k and there's no sign (he says looking for wood to touch) of any further problems
  11. Could you not use 'u' shaped clamps or 'j' shaped clamps?
  12. I used their kit to do a conversion on my old 90 (Now owned by Holyzeus). I had no real issues with the kit, it was well made and a good fit. The only problem I had was they only supplied two seals, expecting you to re-use two. Dave
  13. Ah ha...... to quote the dealer 'Errmmmmm we've found your 110, it was here all the time'
  14. In March I placed an order for a 110 for my rescue team through the Land Rover Business Centre in order to qualify for a quite substantial discount. I was advised that the vehicle was due for delivery to my local main dealer by late June/ Early July. I had heard nothing by the beginning of the week so I chased the business centre. I was advised that the vehicle had definately been delivered to the main dealer concerned. When I contacted the dealer is met with confusion and a barrage of questions. The dealer claims to have never seen sight of either the order or the vehicle. Land Rover Business Centre claim that the vehicle has definately been delivered and is now trying to get a P.O.D. I'm quite glad we haven't given LR any of our hard earn't cash yet. Anyone got a 110 CSW hiding under their bed???
  15. I went for reversed disco rims too: I've been really please with them. The main ar*e ache is grinding the welds out of the centres before removing them. I think I spent around half an hour on each one. If you do a search there's quite a good thread describing the techniques that a few of us have used.
  16. Distribution manager for a company producing pre-cast concrete kerbs and flags .......trying to change jobs at the mo
  17. I think Hillhead International Quarrying and Recycling Show: Hillhead
  18. I'm looking into the provision of a full external cage to a 110 station wagon for a future project . After trawling through several manufacturers web site's I can't seem to find any kind of indication of weight it'd add to the vehicle. Has anyone got any kind of ball park figures???
  19. You could try Tornado Motorsport they'll probably do what you want. I've not used them myself but others on the forum recommend them.
  20. I got my caliper spacers from Autopost but I cant seem to find them on their website. IIRC they were around the £60 mark. This included the four shims and longer bolts. I completely overhauled the calipers when fitting the spacers which included fitting new seals between the shims and the calipers. Unfortunately I can't remember where I got these seals from.
  21. Got mine too. Excellent work
  22. My rescue team's 130. I'm just starting to spec it's replacement:
