Retroanaconda
Just head to your local Land Rover dealer, or any independent, they'll order them in for you in a day or two surely?
landroversforever
Try Ridgeway 4x4, near swindon. Cheney Manor Industrial Estate, Swindon SN2 2PY Mates have given them good reviews.
dave88sw
complete the order on lrseries and at the end they give you the option of a personalised shipping quote, for small items they will post very cheap. Just click for a personalised quote, wait for the order to be reviewed and you'll receive an email to ask for payment once you ae happy with the price Dave
mmgemini
My local dealer , Stratstone, order them for me at no delivery charge.
specialbikejames
Christian Autos in Bristol are not too far from you too.
mickeyw
I ordered even lesser value parts from Brit-car last week. I think the p+p was under £2. Happy to pay that as a trip to anywhere local would cost at least that much in fuel
Landy-Novice
i went with the personalised shipping from LRseries in the end after i calculated the cost of fuel which would have been £14! so i resent the order expecting and reply with shipping cost, but i havn't recieved anything or have i missed it? mickeyw
They are real people James, any they likely work regular office hours like I do. I'm sure they will be back to you today once they have workied out a weight related cost. Have patience

landroversforever
^^ :hysterical: anyway, its now been 4 days! whats going on? Its LR series... they mention 'We aim to dispatch all orders within 5 working days' on their website, and In my experience they take their time over orders
specialbikejames
What about using one these things, I know it's not very 21st century but they are hard to ignore: Remember you are ordering parts with a profit margin of about 20p. Ed Poore
Its LR series... they mention 'We aim to dispatch all orders within 5 working days' on their website, and In my experience they take their time over orders Yep my one and only experience of them put me off completely. I ordered a set of push-rods along with various timing things for the Series and needed them 'like yesterday' and when I went through the process I selected everything and wrote where possible that I was willing to pay for next-day delivery. 7 weeks later they show up. Ironically I ended up phoning a local dealer and the one set of push-rods they had in stock were just the ticket so jumped in the 110 and picked them up. Ironically they were cheaper! specialbikejames
Give Christain Autos in Bristol a call, the guy who runs it is excellent and will help if he can. I'm sure he'll drop them in a jiffy bag and post them for a few quid.

Ditto, I've used them a few times and always been good, seems to be a no nonsense air about the place too-which is something I quite like John
mmgemini
By as 'eck, don't you waste your time.....You could have called the Dealership near to you. They would have been there the next day and you could have walked over for them. Or would you like me to post two to you ? If I still have stock ? Landy-Novice
would you like me to post two to you? If I still have stock? yes please. :D i give up on lrseries..
ejparrott
I must be the only one to get quality service from LR Series then, they are almost the only supplier I will use now. Twice they've sent me a S***part part instead of the genuine part I've ordered, but the replacement correct part arrived next day both times. You do need to allow them to get Genuine parts from LR sometimes, which is why they have stated 5days on their website. I've given up on the likes of Paddocks and Craddocks, who only ever seem to send me s***part parts or just give me totally unacceptable carp service! mmgemini
GO TO YOUR DEALER AND ORDER THEM WHY ARE YOU ALL FRIGHTENED OF GOING TO A LAND ROVER DEALER. In a lot of cases the parts are cheaper....
Retroanaconda
Surely not Mike? I agree, I suggested this in the second post on this thread. Dealer is often the easiest way to do things!

Landy-Novice
cheers for that but still the closes would mean a 40 mile trip and 2 hrs. i'll have to complain to lrseries and find someone wednesday.
