Chris Davies
Hi, sounds as though they are fine for my late 200tdi axle so yes please, one set for me. Sending a pm now. Cheers Chris
western
IIRC the later grease filled swivel don't have a fill level plug on the front face, like the older oil filled swivels, maybe the bulge on the retainer is just to match the older swivel housing shape. landroversforever
For all your info.... these should show why the retainer has a bulge in it:

landroversforever
I'm content to wait as long as it takes for you to get a decent number together ? If you were to have another batch made then I would take 2 pairs please Ross? Anderzander and Boris113, can you both please check your front axles? It would seem that brit-car is wrong.... the swivel seal retainers on a colleagues T-reg 90 are different! They don't have the bulge at the top near the upper swivel pin. These fit only 20L/21L/22L/23L front axles. Sorry to be a pain! EDIT: I think I've PMed all the others, if I haven't and they aren't right... please get in contact and we can arrange getting them back for a refund! need4speed
Something weird happening with my PM, so in case you didnt get it.... Im not sure of exact age of my axles. All i know is that they are TD5 vintage. I can take a pic tomorrow if you like Ross.
V8 Freak
Ross, The bump and bolt hole are still there I think but on TD5 types as it's a tapered bearing in the top as well, the casting is filled in at the back. Railko is open section... Not the best of pictures but I think it shows the shape is there and bolt hole still utilised.... Will see about grabbing another piccie if no-one else can / does... Anderzander
Oh no - I forgot to look. Apologies.
Fatboy
Ross, Mine didn't fit but it's absolutely not your fault so I won't be seeking a refund. I'll just keep 'em till I find an axle they do fit.

Neil The bump near the top swivel pin isn't there! and looking at the pictures of the parts, mine are 7 bolts, the later ones 6.
task
Would these fit a range rover classic? If so I would be interested should a third batch be made... I had a bit of a search but couldn't find a definitive answer on google.
Anderzander
Yes - it does seem to be a no go for the Td5 onwards swivels ...
landroversforever
However... Good news... I've ordered a later one to copy! So watch this space of you have a RRC/D1/later defender.
