  1. I just met up with Stephen, grandson, and Sid …. You guys at 7S are in for a treat. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s awesome.
  2. I missed this had been shared and posted it in the video forum … I thought the level of engineering was surprising and very interesting.
  3. I love this !!! Congratulations !!
  4. Mine would always start - so if yours is being immobilised it sounds like something different. Is it a Td5 Defender ?
  5. Super helpful all. all sorted now 👍🏻
  6. Do you mean you’d like a smaller steering wheel ? If so - I think it’s literally just make sure you get the right spline count for your vehicle (36 or 48) and then pick one you like from somewhere like exmoor trim. Ralph is right though - the standard wheel does work fine for off road driving.
  7. If anyone wants a more powerful winch … https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1710509636036651/?
  8. Those callipers look lovely 😊 Out of curiosity- I presume they have a recessed o ring either side of the spacer plate?
  9. I think I have one of those solenoid packs - happy to send it to you if I can find it and you can use it ?
  10. That what I thought I remembered reading .. that it was to do with it coming undone or not holding the lock.
  11. Mine has broken - it won’t unlock. The key turns the barrel and the central locking moves the little lever - but it stays locked. I’ve seen kits with springs for these, but as I’ve not been in one of these locks I’ve no idea if that’s likely to be the issue. I know I could just dig into it and (hopefully) figure it out - but I need to keep it secure and on the road, so I’d like to have whatever I need ready. Any help greatly appreciated.
  12. <shallow comment> They do look cool though don’t they ! </shallow comment>
  13. I think you can tell that he was saying everything for the 2nd time.
  14. £25k ? It’s ripe for portals and a V8 then? 😁 Seems to be about the right colour already.
  15. I’m sure you’re right … but it is the classic unimog ! It’s a thing of beauty. I could put a flail mower behind it, use the hiab to lift the round bales that are in a deep ditch, and use the access track however bad it got … not many vehicles could do all of that 😊
  16. He doesn’t say much in this video on it (it’s mainly a crop update), but he’s got the car on test and will post a video in a week or two. With him having had the new Defender it’ll be interesting to see what he says.
  17. If it’s a Td5 one - I cut the connector of my loom and went to spade terminals. I’ll have a look.
  18. Doesn’t on mine .. I think if you have spacers they do, but otherwise they are ok.
  19. My 90 has a 1.2, Td5 with a remap, and works really well with 255/85’s …
  20. I have just put a set of Toyo MT’s on - they are working well on our field. Not experienced them in snow yet though !?
  21. I just picked up a No.3 Record for £10 😊 Obviously a ton smaller than that - but it’ll clean up to make a nice vice.
