  1. That what I thought I remembered reading .. that it was to do with it coming undone or not holding the lock.
  2. Mine has broken - it won’t unlock. The key turns the barrel and the central locking moves the little lever - but it stays locked. I’ve seen kits with springs for these, but as I’ve not been in one of these locks I’ve no idea if that’s likely to be the issue. I know I could just dig into it and (hopefully) figure it out - but I need to keep it secure and on the road, so I’d like to have whatever I need ready. Any help greatly appreciated.
  3. <shallow comment> They do look cool though don’t they ! </shallow comment>
  4. I think you can tell that he was saying everything for the 2nd time.
  5. £25k ? It’s ripe for portals and a V8 then? 😁 Seems to be about the right colour already.
  6. I’m sure you’re right … but it is the classic unimog ! It’s a thing of beauty. I could put a flail mower behind it, use the hiab to lift the round bales that are in a deep ditch, and use the access track however bad it got … not many vehicles could do all of that 😊
  7. He doesn’t say much in this video on it (it’s mainly a crop update), but he’s got the car on test and will post a video in a week or two. With him having had the new Defender it’ll be interesting to see what he says.
  8. If it’s a Td5 one - I cut the connector of my loom and went to spade terminals. I’ll have a look.
  9. Doesn’t on mine .. I think if you have spacers they do, but otherwise they are ok.
  10. My 90 has a 1.2, Td5 with a remap, and works really well with 255/85’s …
  11. I have just put a set of Toyo MT’s on - they are working well on our field. Not experienced them in snow yet though !?
  12. I just picked up a No.3 Record for £10 😊 Obviously a ton smaller than that - but it’ll clean up to make a nice vice.
  13. If you need a lift with anything Geoff - don’t hesitate to give me a shout.
  14. Would look a bit agricultural - but I wonder if box or corrugated roofing sheets would be a cheaper option? They are the sort of thing you might find some secondhand or left over locally.
  15. I use fabsil - it works well and is very easy to apply. Just Make sure the hood is clean and dry, then apply it with a cloth or sponge.
  16. You can get fibre cement cladding boards … but that is not that much of a cheap option either. 🤔
  17. I’m ready with a Horlicks …. 🍿
  18. Link 3 and 5, which are under the seat, connect to the fuel relay and ignition respectively - so it does seem like you have some modifications… ? Fuse 28 on the panel would go to the air con blower … which I’m guessing the Defender doesn’t have? If so then it was empty spot that someone has perhaps used to take a feed from ? 28 would go to this connector through a brown and purple wire https://www.lrworkshop.com/connectors/defender-2002my/C0786 Then from the connector TSD shared through a brown wire https://www.lrworkshop.com/connectors/defender-2002my/C0153
  19. I should know - but what happened to your 1UZ ?
  20. ahhh - now I see it ! What engine does that one fit then?
