  5. Graham, Both of Andy's Discos run just below half as well so I would say the stat is likely to be the problem
  6. Cheers Luke thats the same as the one I took off the other day with the over voltage problem! Will get a new regulator/brush pack & swap it when I get the chance

  9. Evening all, Just a quick question regarding the output voltage of my alternator! I changed my alternator about 2 months ago & all seemed ok, I have a digital voltmeter fitted & it has always sat around 13.9 to 14.1 volts when the engine is running until Wednesday it deceided to change & it now sits at either 15 or 15.1 volts & only dips slightly when loaded! (lights on ect) Today to eliminate a fault on the volt meter I tested it with my multimeter & it gives the same reading! So the question is, is my replacement alternator throwing a wobbly & is likely to pack in or is a 15 volt output ok? Cheers,
  10. I know the wires you mean, they are also on my RRC & they arn't connected to anything (I don't know what they do either) so I just made sure that they could not short out & secured them to the loom!

  13. Hmmmm....Thats a tidy job you have done there Since I am planning on fitting extended hoses to my RRC now I have seen it done I am also tempted to swap my 2 pipe setup to a 1 pipe system
  14. I brought a 300mm one for the rangey & it was far too small But I am looking for one around the 350mm size myself as that would seem to be ok!

  16. My RR also has movement there as well! I was concerned about it until I checked the 2 disco's at work & they are both the same!

    Nice one Where did you get the lighting bar from Dunc as it seems far better made than the one I have been looking at?
  22. No problem Russ It's quite handy that you can remove them pretty quick if the need arises & they seem quite happy offroad!
