They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.
My 90 CSW Bess* is three this month - bless
In their kindness Land Rover have asked me if I would like to extend the manufacturers warranty. There are three options ranging from £636 to £689 and finally £727 per annum. If I choose the £727 option (which also includes Land Rover Assist recovery there is also a £95.00 + VAT inspection fee which has to be carried out prior to the end of the 3 year warranty expires and before they agree the cover extension.
Now what's the word I'm looking for here?

I've been on Ebay since early '97 and have rarely encountered problems but when the odd one does arise it is usually with one of our colonial cousins across the pond who often fail to read the description or terms correctly. the last time I was stung (£200- £300) was with a Belgium chap earlier this year, I'm still chasing that one. I have found Ebay and Paypal customer support pretty dire.

Well done that man
I came this -||- close to buying a Champ from what looked like a bomb site car dealer in Luton in about 1976 but after much tough haggling could not get him to agree what I thought was a reasonable price ...I think it was only about £75 to start with. Much rust it had.
Wake up at 03:00. Breakfast at 03:30. Briefing at 04:00. I want a good team effort over the next few days gentlemen, anyone not pulling their weight will be on spud peeling duty for the next six months.
My wife has a red '04 TD4 which she has had from new and now has 30,000 mostly on road miles on the clock. Erm.... what else? New front tyres at 25,000, rears will need replacing soon. Apart from a minor clutch glitch a year or so back (a 30 min dealer fix but she hasn't got a clue what the problem was) it's been fine.
There you go, I've contributed
