  1. Not sure about part numbers but think one of a Rover 75 or even a BMW ill fit as they both use the same engine John
  2. Having had both in petrol & diesle versions (still got a Focus Ghia petrol) think the TD4 Freelander is a much better choice , swmbo is itching for another Freelander so might be going down the same road as you pretty soon John
  3. Have a look on some 'custom car/hot rod' forums as a lot of them have them fitted & if they are wider you could just take a section out of the middle John
  4. I know what you should do SELL IT TO ME , & we'll say no more about it No really if it was me I'd use it, keep photos of the re-build & any reciets as its like for like, but if you change your mind John

  14. Yes they do, thats why I using the Ford auto oil cooler but the one I am concerned about is the engine oil, or maybe I could use the 'bog brush' one that belonged to the Range Rover ??? Thanks John
  15. Hi all Very soon I will be starting my winter project I will be doing a 200tdi rangy engine & autobox into my 90, I have done lots of research (mostly on here ) but cant find anything about using the original radiator. My idea is to use the original radiator as it is full width, I have a very large intercooler (EVO 8)& a large (ford) cooler for the autobox, but not sure about the engine oil pipes that normally go into the 200 radiator , question is could I just use another large oil cooler & get the pipes made up ? Oh & will be fitting lecky fan so think I should be ok for space Thanks in advance John
  16. chavtastic innit guy, no wat i's mean ? why why why would you ?, if you like them please log off & unsicribe to this forum John
  17. Had the same problem on mine a couple of years ago, I had to get them off to fit a tank gaurd as that was also bolted there, in the end fount it quicker to cut them off with the grinder & fabricte new ones with steel pipe & some 5mm steel at each side welded to the chassis Hope that helps & good luck.
  18. on a serious note try soaking a rag in deisle & leaving it over the bolts overnight, might help me though I prefer the GAS AXE
  19. yep stilsons do it & wear some gloves its puffy & will save your skin good luck with them john
  20. Ditto, had the same one a 200 I had & I used to start that in gear quite often John
  21. All the VIC is for is to make sure its the vehcilce its supossed to be & not a 'ringer', cant see you having any problems been to loads of them now & never had any issues John BTW good luck to your wife
  22. Will be fitting one like that to my 90, so have printed off the instructions, so much infomation on here but so little time to use it John
  23. Can anyone tell me what the name of the treatment is for a canvas roof to help keep it waterproof Thanks In advance John
  24. yes just bypass it with a bit of pipe, done this on a 200tdi & had no problems at all, if you have access to an air line you could take the fuel line of & blow back any debris toward the tank as well John
