You're still safe Kev as the mileage algorithm and storage format for the TD5 is different to that. I do like the interface they use for programming the chip though, nice and cheap
No, we're at the 'covetting thy neighbours ass' point, people see the vast inequality of wealth (whilst being constantly shown products they can't afford but really must have by the mass media) and then use that as their rationale for a bit of Robin Hooding despite the fact they invariably steal from those only a little better off than themselves.
You are right Dan, a lot of criminals are cocky (or perhaps realistic) and don't believe they will get caught. I also agree that crime levels are related to the financial inequalities in society.
A 300 is more likely to overheat as the water pump is higher so the coolant level has to drop less before the pump is dry and then it overheats, perhaps people just jump to the conclusion it's the head that causes them to overheat more?
There was a picture of a gauge attached to Si's last post (which now seems to have been removed) as well as the normal readings on the gauge the last two items were.

That was bought in to shift the liability for fraud from the credit card company to the consumer (not reduce the level of fraud), eventually it was proven they screwed up the protocol and there are a number of ways that cards can be used without the pin so some of the liability once more lays with the credit card company.
