  10. yeah I've just worked out why it decided not to give any more as the evening went on, the irregular power supply has fried it's brain Good excuse to upgrade and do another pimping job
  11. I've got a hybrid defender which i built to incorporate some of the best features of the land rover range. 1)Range Rover chassis for a stable on road ride, and a good compromise between the 90 and 110 off road 2)The defender bodywork as this doesn't rot (apart from the bulhead and door frame ) like the disco/rangy 3)Discovery TDi engine and transmision for reliablity/strength/enconomy 4)More loadbed space than a 90 (those extra few inches make a big difference) It suits my needs perfectly, a resonably comfortable road car, economical, capable off road, plenty of load space and it should last a few years.
  12. Well i had a great weekend, nice to meet up with a load of friends, and see some fantastic machinery in action. A few of the piccies i took over the weekend Open to captions for the last one

  19. The more i think about it, the more i realise i've still got a load of stuff i want/need to get done on the landy before the weekend not helped by the rain outside
  20. I think i'll have to get one, the one they gave me in work is held together with duck tape and needs a good clout to work ocasionally
  21. I've mounted my compressor for the ARB in the roof On the pasengers side, right at the rear corner of the hard top, in the radius of the roof line, It's fixed onto a bit of 12mm ply, and bolted to the underside of the gutter using 4 bolts. If it gets wet / muddy up there i'm in big trouble
  22. Another way to hold the two rear bolts is to use a pair of clothes pegs
