Mark90
Excellent day. Nice to be able to take the time to watch other people tackling the punches, you don't get to do that much when competing.
treebloke
I thought this was a touch of class, made me smile. Another good day. Popped a side window and door mirror, It goes to show that when you think you seen and done it all and covered all the corners, there still a branch on a Beech tree somewhere waiting to get ya. Are chainsaws permitted?.

LR90
Great day. Nice to meet so many familiar trucks and unfamiliar faces. Looking fwd to the next one. Big thanks to Si and Chris for the tools and advise to get the 90 running again and Julian for the hot tea and battery top up that got us home (with still enough left to start it after I'd swapped the alternator again this morning). Few pics attached.

Kris Murphy on punch 14 IIRC Kris on punch 6 trying to get out! Craig showing that it was muddy in places..... Punch 39 'Come on Tony keep up i am not pulling you around all day' 'If i push this wing bar down it will be the same height as the other side then.................' white90
At least Sticky put a full days work in on the wing bars
ciderman
Looks like the Wing bars did the job then Tony, I think they are the next job on Lardys truck now, along with a trayback Must admit that some of the punches were positioned well , some were a bit naughty with a very short lead on them , They looked easy until you got the vehicle next to them and a whole lot more rigging was needed to get an extra 2 " to punch the card . Punch 6 and 14 were the best , and punch 9 was a right swine to find.
white90
we only found 9 after Jase told us where to look we did punch 40 but I can't remember where in the quarry it was. didn't do 6 as you were doing it when we arrived with the intention of trying if it was empty. 14 was that the deeep mud? wing bars were and are fantastic. Tony ps anyone got the pic of the 90 minus its tyre?
JST
6 was the one to the right of the access track in site A 39 was the water one int he quarry 40 IIRC was the highest one in the quarry behind the water. 14 deep mud/rive on the U bend in the track think thats where they were anyway, will check tomorrow when i collect them. fair one Sticky did put in a good whole day! Jase - glad you found the punches interesting and naughty! that was the aim..... still good to see that the std got a good number of them as well though. white90
39 was shown as only one team getting it and not us so it must have been another number I reckon possibly 33? how many were in A/B/C ?
Les Brock
Had a great time even if Nick did have me PAT testing all friday night... Did'nt we do well...all that effort for 0 points So appologies to Nick for me being a heavy handed git and pulling the card off, 5 foot from the punch trying to see where the number was on the card whilst lowering down to the second punch after lunch....... Rulz is Rulz so we retired, to late in the day to start over
ciderman
IIRC Punch 40 was the one in the quarry in the water , It was one of the two we missed out . Section A , 1-18 Section B ,19-25 Section C , 26-40.
lard
i think punch 39 was next to the trailor where the series was. on the way into the quarry

ciderman
Yep Tony thats 40 , Only you and Shaun Houghton got that one . We looked at it but said we would come back if we had time .
white90
a little perturbing when the water filled to the top of gearbox tunnel inside. Shaun came in the way we went out. the quarry was a great section IMHO we missed all of B as it was so busy after lunch.
Orgasmic Farmer
Punch 39 was above and to the left of the awkward climb up and out of the end of the quarry where you came out on a high bit above the bog. It was on a small tree just above the quarry. Looked fairly inocuous but Kris failed to sinch up to it due to his batteries giving up the ghost (this was just before they failed altogether and we had to "borrow" a battery from Bish to start him again (Thanks from the crew BTW Bish, you were a star). I have some pics Tony of your missing wheel, I will load em up in a mo.
