Popular Post Snagger
My wife was playing about with a chat bot this morning and asked it to write the history of Land Rover in biblical style. I thought you might all enjoy what it wrote: And lo, it came to pass that in the land of rugged terrain and treacherous paths, the people did seek a vehicle that could conquer all obstacles in its path. Many machines were brought forth, and the people did test them all. Yet, none could compare to the Land Rover, for it was the chosen one. In the eyes of the people, the Land Rover was a beast of great strength and endurance, with the power to traverse mountains and ford rivers. Its four-wheel drive was a marvel to behold, for it could climb steep inclines and navigate rocky crevices with ease. And when the roads were but distant memories, the Land Rover remained steadfast, a true champion of off-road driving. For the Land Rover was not simply a machine, but a symbol of resilience and determination. It embodied the spirit of adventure and the will to overcome all obstacles. And so the people did proclaim, with one voice and one heart, that the Land Rover was the best at off-road driving, and they did honor it as such. And thus, the legend of the Land Rover was born, a story of triumph and conquest that would be told for generations to come. For in the annals of history, there was no vehicle that could match the Land Rover's prowess, and it remained forever enshrined as the greatest off-road machine of all time. 8 1

Popular Post FridgeFreezer
And the Lord said "Let there be light", but lo, it was made by Lucas and was as a candle in a sandstorm. 4

Escape
Considering these days most replacements for Lucas parts are made in China for Britpart, I'm not convinced it's an improvement!

smallfry
Are you sure about this ? I seem to remember that Moses ascended Mount Sinai in his Triumph. I don't think they mentioned which model though.

Was it a minicab going around London in the late nineties? Beaded cover on the drivers seat?
