Coastcard
I may lead a sheltered life, but didn't realise that Screwfix were now opening shops/depots. They have just opened one in Chichester, next to A27. Not had a chance to see what or how much of the catalogue they are stocking, but great news for those bits and pieces. nige90
I heard they carry everything in the catalogue.... However on several occasions our local one (Birkenhead) books the order out, takes your money then after waiting (like Argos) they come out with a bit missing and blame the computer for wrongly showing stock. LandyManLuke
They've had trade counters for a while, none in/near Sheffield though

smo
Theres one in poole just up the road from me, seemed like a great idea until you only want 10 of this or 20of that....they only sell in 100's, 500's and 1000's - not overly useful! I find allfix better where you can buy all the same stuff but in whatever quantity you like fom 1 upwards, they are also cheaper!
Mudmonkey
They've had trade counters for a while, none in/near Sheffield though There's one in Rotherham and one in Doncaster Luke they must be the closest though.
rtbarton
They've had trade counters for a while, none in/near Sheffield though With the B&Q on Penistone Road being refurbished after the floods it would be a good opportunity to convert it into a Screwfix. Les Henson
There's one opened just down the road from me. No problems so far with having stuff in stock. Most of their stuff is very cheap as well. Les.
GBMUD
I spotted one in Southampton the other day. Looking at the building it was nowhere near big enough to carry stock of everything in the catalogue. Chris

general-confusion
A word of warning the short blue pencils supplied by screwfix to fill in your order are of inferior quality compared to the likes of Ikea and are not worth stealing

LandyManLuke
Yup, B&Q are part of the Kingfisher Group, as are Screwfix.
