Or there's this one! Surprisingly clean for its age....

Love the description, especially the BS about the Tower of London! WTF!

good grief, are they still trying to pimp those ringers.

chassis, nil point

steering, nil point

axles, nil point

suspension, nil point

engine, nil point

gearboxes, nil point

be interested to see how they manage the eight points to kep the 1959 vehice's identity. not sure a rusty old plate from the original vehicle counts.

(damm.... to late with this one lol)

What it should be is a 1999 - 2002 spec Defender 90!

I also like the fact it has electric window switches, but wind up windows.

Interestingly.... all they have done is raided the parts bin at JE Engineering, or at least copied all their ideas!!!

And they are standard vented front discs by the looks of it...

but they`re flogging it in the states - so they dont care really......

thing that really has me laughing my @rse off it they spend all that money grafting in disco 2 seats front and rear, covering everything in matching leather and then leave the original plastic austin metro switchgear and the crappy plastic footwell heater vents!!!!!

oh and they say in the top bit of the add "4.5 literV8 Turbo"

hmm, looks like a td5 in the description and piccies.

utter toss.

if they're flogging it in the states, the vehicle needs to be over 25 years old. that vehicle is not over 25 years old. its registered as 1959 to get round that legislation. in the uk its a ringer, in the US it could be crushed by the autorities. i think that pretty much constitutes fraud in most folk's books. aside from the fact its an ugly piece of carp.

bit of an odd company, have appeared on another forum, i think dweb or some other north american forum trying to defend their product. they then threatened someone who was taking the tiddle stating that they should watch out as they dealt in ballistics or some ****.

I just had this back from the seller:

I described the vehicle completely with all it's parts and modifications as

a Bellargio custom produced from a 1959 Land Rover. It would be very hard

to describe this car without including where the frame and cab originated.

New Defenders are not identical to this car and this is not a 1959

original.

Sure the frame & cab is 1959?
