Hybrid_From_Hell
Hi All, Basically passenger door mirror Had it when it was a hardtop, needed it, but smashed lenses regaularly Now a Truck Cab don't wnat it / need it / use it, and it still gets smashed. Q is Does a 90 Truck cab 1985 'C' Plate actaully HAVE to have a Passenger door Mirror for MOT : ?? or can I just bin it ?? Nige
Aragorn
I think you only need the drivers side mirror, and possibly one of either the rear view or passenger mirror. Best check the MOT handbook to be sure though.

Guest noggy
I know if a car was never built with them on, they dont need to have them fitted, like early mini's.

steve_d
You must have an internal mirror and a drivers side mirror. If an internal mirror would provide not rearward vision then you must have a passenger side mirror. The only gotya they could pull is if they determined that the interior mirror view was restricted by something like roll cage cross braces etc. I think there is a allowable % of restriction. In fact I think the last one I did I snapped the arm off when I rolled it, but didnt actually smash the glass!!! I'm convinced the only reason people need challenge wings and truck cabs is cos they cant drive!!!! That or they're too short to see over the steering wheel.....
