Ooo - that looks good Pete ! Could you post up a bit more of how you do it ? Is it just like the YouTube clips ? I bought some rods to fill some holes on my series - but haven't had chance to try them yet.

Can I ask for a comment on something ? For my 200 Tdi Series 1 I was wondering if I could get a rad and intercooler built that fitted under the original header tank to the original sizes. The thinking being that the more efficient modern cores for both could fit in the large depth / space of the original 50's radiator. Does that sound feasible ?

Jamie's friend sorted him out with one - so I might try cleaning this one up then and pop it on eBay. Any trim treatments you'd recommend?

Lol - with the panel gaps on mine it would end up trying to cool down the atmosphere rather than the cab.....

I picked up some XS tdci seats. After that accident my back will benefit from the heaters and the extra lumbar support on longer journeys.

The stainless one is virtually the same price ! Give it a go

For that money couldn't you get a custom exhaust place to make something up ? Or is it being a standard part important to the build ?

I have someone wanting to buy the seats I took out of my Td5 90 and I've no idea what's a fair price (for both of us). Prices seem to vary so much on eBay that I can't seem to get a sense of it from there. Could anyone give me a ball park figure? They are in great condition, no rips or tears except for on one side of on cushion. There is a little mark on the back of one - though that may well clean out. The foams are only very slightly worn. Here's some pictures - though not great photos, they show the bits mentioned.

Here it is.... The rim is quite worn, though in a bid to capture that on a photograph I think it's made it look worse than it is ? But the centre is pretty much spot on.

I will - it's been stored at the back of the garage for a while. It's definitely 36 spline - it came out of a 2001 Td5 CSW, which had the 36 spline column.

I have an old sprung steel shower curtain rail - it holds itself in place whilst I mark where the extending section slides in to with a felt tip. Do the same measurement off the front of the wheels - divide the distance in half and work to that.

That XJ 13 was beautiful

It is light on content - but it's TG. The closest to technical detail the old one got was how many 'torques' the car had (which used to really grate on me) - at least this one CM gave a description of what it is. I liked MLB - he can vary the pace of his speech ... CE doesn't seem to be able to and it make him rather hard to listen to. I hadn't seen the rumour MLB has said CE needs to go ?

I agree Soren. I thought this one was very watchable - in fact I didn't find it half as annoying as the old one had become.
