  1. That is what the Gov site says, must be for the sole use of agricultural purposes not general use and seems to suggest max 40 mph?
  2. Ah well done for fixing it. Your initial post sounded a bit more like a rant rather than a quest to improve it. I would have suggested returning your update info to either SimonR or Foundary, however. 1. This is your intellectual property. 2. I doubt Foundary would be interested as it will increase manufacturing costs. If you do want to share your fix with others then you could post pictures and diagrams here as that is the nature of this forum?
  3. Hi, Welcome but please don't shout. I have no experience of this but started to look here. Government site.
  4. Had a quick look and I like the proportions, a bit Iselandic but I like them too. Let's face it you can't say that an Icelandic lifted LR is not capable or focused!
  5. I tried to post yesterday but failed, I want to catchup with my mate as am not sure whether I understood him correctly. I see from the CSK website that Autos are rarer than manuals.
  6. Oh, my mate has about six CSKs were there different versions? Some less rare?
  7. Having owned a D3 I have replaced/repaired most of the plastic cooling parts as it crumbles to dust.
  8. Ah OK not so rare then. Is that why there are so many French 2 doors coming to the UK?
  9. Is it not worth restoring as is instead of killing it? TBH I don't get the CSK thing, my mate has a load he is resoring so it must be worth keeping normal 2 doors aren't they older than CSK?
  10. Yet the EU pushed for all 15 years or over cars must be scrapped end of.
  11. That makes sense as I thought Tdi was metric but dual line is imperial. Blue box calipers are so cheap but if you are good at putting new seals in then rebuilding will give you new LR ones.
  12. Are Disco1 300Tdi axles metric or imperial? If they are imperial then the axle bolts for the dual line caliper will be too small diameter for the single line 90/110 calipers as they are metric m12.
  13. Unfortunately this is std TV treatment now for any slightly niche market to make it "exciting" for noninterested parties. Watch the UK oversize trucking show with all their major problems that are really just day to day issues that are easy to resolve but the producer makes in to a cliffhanger.
  14. This for long term use if some of the testing was only short term then it will not have shown up? I found sufficient information when looking to make me NOT want to use GL5 anywhere in my S1.
  15. Sorry to hear that the MOT has been cancelled as this is a milestone for progress. But great that you have Turners providing support. My S1 project has taken years to complete overcoming technical issues on a tight budget (periods of unemployment interlaced with work) but it is so close it just needs £100 in std parts plus insurance to finish. After finding spare parts to sell to make funds available,we used it on my sons birthday instead. So back into the container it went for how long I don't know but it is not a good environment as it can be a damp preasure cooker. Here's to you solving you problem and getting it on the road.
  16. Isn't there a comment about new and older ones re cheaper bearings? I seam to recall that they suggest the fitment of their finned transfer box plate with high output engines. Though I also would like one.
  17. High voltage produces Ozone gas. I know the commercial high voltage dust removers do/did. we knew when they were out of spec as everyone got flu symptoms. So do EV motors produce it?
  18. Go to the Nanocom sales page there is a usable online demo where you can try each type out.
  19. Looking at the comments, a non coded welder is going to struggle to weld a cage made by a non professional who will struggle to form it? This comment is not based on the original posters abilities just the statements above. TTi's is without even considering if the tube is suitable for the job in the first place. My observation only.
  20. Can't you twist it backwards by hand or is it too awkward or hard?
