  1. If I'm not using a pressure bleeder I usually close the bleed screw on the pedal upstroke.
  2. In a word - bushes. Check them esp the panhard rod.
  3. If there is any doubt as to the efficiency of the radiator core then personally I would not bother attempting to flush but would get it recored. That way you know the radiator is efficientl doing the job it is supposed to do.

  7. To remain in service FX4's (not too many of them left) and later Fairways (FX4 shape but with Nissan 2.7 lump and disc brakes), Metrocabs, TX1's etc have to be modified to meet new emmissions standards.

  10. bringing this back to the top to see if anyone has any real life photos of Defenders dressed in Keswick Green. Both my current XS and previous TD5 was Java Black and I'm toying with going with a solid colour if / when I decide to order a new one.

  13. If you remove the battery you should see some slots or brackets which the ends of the battery clamps fit. Having an unsecured battery is a potential recipe for disaster

  16. This was mine until late last year. Direct from service and converted into a camper by me
  17. I tried fairly unsuccessfully to capture the sound on the video I cobbled together - as it's mostly noticeable in motion with the window open it got lost in the general wind noise.
  18. The one I had last week was noisy too.
  19. You'll find those flip down steps at good commercial vehicle body / horsebox builders / supplies too.
